  • "We had a lovely week in the lodge weather was nice and we sat on the loving decking with a drink there was a washout day but stayed in and watched movies comfortably, it was a close stroll to the bar which also was good, surroundings are lovely for walking the dog."

  • "There was no mattress or pillow protectors on the bed."

The crockery was badly worn. The bottle opener was broken. There was no utensil for lifting a fried egg excetra out of pan. Two pans without lids. One bottle of hand wash provided for three sinks. Only two toilet rolls for two toilets. The gas hob and splash back had not been cleaned , fat splashes. The carpet had not been cleaned up to the edges of the room. No contact details left for any gripes. No information about local amenities or attractions. I feel that this property has a long way to go compared to other properties. Otherwise a nice lodge that needs Tlc

Thank you for your feedback. We would have been happy to attend during your stay to address your concerns had we have known. We will take on board your comments on the supplies and a new mattress and pillow protector will be provided going forward. We hope despite this you enjoyed your time away. Property Owner

  • "Found it hard to find on the site as was looking for Eden 2 asked a couple of people if they new where it was , but they didn’t know , Luckily after walking around for an hour a man who worked there asked us what we were looking for , he told us it was Sherwood 20 , You should state that it is Sherwood 20 / Eden 2."

  • "You could tell when you walked into the lodge that it was new , it was spotless , the en suite and wardrobe hidden behind a mirrored wall was a great idea , bit disappointed that there were only 3 coat hangers for 3 people, you definitely need more than that, the shower was excellent , on the down side the tap in the en suite had very little pressure , the patio doors in the main bedroom was also a bonus ."

The lodge was perfectly located , you get the sunshine from morning to late afternoon , the weather wasn’t great but we did manage to use the decking furniture. We’ve stayed in a number of lodges in the Lake District but this was the first one that didn’t have any welcome pack , this adds a personal touch. Overall we had a great stay in your lodge

  • "Very spacious and modern accommodation."

We had a really sunny week and it did get quite hot in the caravan but the double doors were great to open and let the breeze in. Great facilities for the dog and we knew he was safe at all times. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

  • "Beautiful lodge very comfortable well appointed clean and a great base for a holiday."

Site was lovely to walk around with the dog, very clean and tidy, only down side was the opening hours for the restaurant and pub and no onside shop. Couldn't fault the beauty of the place or the accommodation first class

  • "We have just return from an amazing break in this lodge it was absolutely stunning from the moment we stepped in to the lodge and was greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates."

The lodge is brand new and has everything you need in it for your break away. Lexi our cockerpoo settled in straight away. There was a washing machine and dishwasher also an en-suite with shower and a main bathroom with shower, the decking is well situated with sun all day. It is situated about a 10 min walk from the pub and reception. The best part of our break we did get to meet the owner who was such a lovely man made sure we were all ok and even told us the best places to go too also pubs and restaurants. This lodge has everything it’s says on the page and the pictures are exactly what it looks like. Amazing find would highly recommend this too anyone we will definitely 100% stay here again thank you Mark Andrea Lexi
