  • "It was a good property and would recommend it to family and friends"

  • "Thank you so providing us with such a lovely home away from home last week."

The cottage and setting is absolutely gorgeous, modern and clean. The location is very central and makes travelling to the lakes and Blackpool very easy and convenient. The owners even messaged us with recommendations and were so friendly, I have been staying in self catering cottages for years and haven’t experienced such a level of care, so thank you so much!

  • "Lodge was nice, beds and sofas comfortable."

Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Continual issues with the heating being lowered really put a damper on the stay. Good location for exploring the surrounding area.

Had everything we needed. A good location to visit Morecambe and the Lake District. We had a lovely time and hope to be back soon.

  • "Lovely Lodge in a lovely spot."

The Leisure Village is very pleasant and in close reach to 'The Lakes'. The lodge is immaculate and well presented.

  • "The property was spotless and we have stayed at 10+ lodges and this was the cleanest one by far!"

The lodge was comfortable but a little small for 6 of us due to the sofas only seating 4. There are extra fold out chairs for the dining table and it does also extend too so that was great. We could have made use of door hooks for coats as we found hanging coats to dry difficult. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it for a short family break! Thank you!

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback Brian, we have replaced the hangers again, they are one of those items that go missing from time to time but they are restocked again, we look forward to seeing you soon, thank you so much again. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed the stay at your lodge."

It was very clean and comfortable and perfect with two separate single rooms for our teenagers to have a room each. The bedding and linen was fresh and cosy. We have been to this park before and enjoyed using the pool and gym facilities again. The lodge had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. The waterfall walk a short drive away is definitely recommend. The only thing we found we didn't have was a vegetable peeler, but no big deal as we used a knife! Thanks for our stay.

Thank you so much Sarah, and thank you for taking such good care of our Lodge, we hope to see you again soon x Property Owner

  • "Lovely lodge, well appointed and very clean."

We really enjoyed our stay. The road noise is quite loud though, and a few hooks on the backs of doors for towels, coats etc would be helpful.

Lamps in living room 6 chairs around table (we couldn’t all eat together) Fan for bedroom Toilet seat in en-suite that fits toilet. The leisure passes for 6 of us were £143 So another massive cost on top. Maybe a cabin membership to bring cost down? Two keys and fobs. All constructive feedback- we had a lovely stay x

Other than that it is a very nice lodge with good facilities. The park is well maintained and has a decent pub restaurant.

Clean, modern and in a great setting. The children loved it and it’s brilliant for them to ride their scooter / bikes. It’s in a fantastic location, close to lots of things to do and only a short drive away from bigger towns.

  • "We have just returned from a brilliant stay at Hawthorn Lodge."

It had everything we required for an amazing stay. It was beautifully clean, had all modern facilities dishwasher, washing machine and smart TV with firestick. It was spacious and very warm and comfortable. We had very mixed weather during our stay so it was really good to come back to a warm and comfortable lodge. We paid for the 3day swim pass on site which was brilliant. It does seem a little steep but the swimming pool is high end, clean and really accommodating for children. We took our inflatables on the off chance and this was no issue them in which made it extra fun for the kids. Location wise it was great we visited Lancaster, lakeland motor museum, the safari zoo, Morecambe and Arnside. All less than 45mins some only 15mins away. Lots more to do. It was a great change from the central lakes where we normally stay. Definitely one of the best accommodations we've stayed in. Thank you to Terri the host for contacting us prior to arrival and turning the heating on ready. A really lovely touch. Many thanks The Robinsons
