• "Beautiful lodge."

  It had everything we needed and more. The welcome tray was the best we have ever had. The lodge is within easy reach of the Lakes. We enjoyed several walks close to the lodge in Silverdale. We would highly recommend. Thank you Shona.

• "Langdale lodge is exceptional!"

  It is obvious on entering the lodge that the owner takes great pride in making Langdale feel like home from home. It is very cosy and spotlessly clean. It is nice to stay in a dog friendly lodge that has good quality utensils, a comfy bed, fluffy towels, plus a few basic necessities. A great holiday for the dog too as there are lots of good walks within a short drive. The site is clean, well looked after and peaceful. I'd also recommend using the pool, gym and beauty salon too. We found the lodge to have everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return in the future! Thank you Shona for your thoughtful welcome pack, great communication and for allowing us to use your beautiful lodge!

• "Langdale Lodge was lovely - well presented and maintained, lovely touches such as the welcome basket of goodies for hoomans and doggos (cereals, sweets, biscuits, prosecco, plus more, then doggo treats and a ball)."

  A lovely welcome pack on arrival. Very comfortable and all clean and the kitchen equipment you need. A lovely site to walk round. Canal nearby. Great for walking along.

• "Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Langdale Lodge."

  This is an extremely well presented lodge, light and bright with lovely fixtures and fittings plus WiFi. A generous welcome pack with treats for us and for our little dog. Good quality kitchen utensils and other extras like a radio alarm with phone charger and USB points on some sockets. Every need has been considered with comfort a priority. Although not lakeside the lodge has a nice cul de sac location on the Leisure Village- which is itself is attractively laid out and maintained. The onsite bar/restaurant is a useful extra as is the small leisure complex. We hope to return.

• "Langdale lodge was set in the ideal location for exactly what we needed, it's half way between blackpool pleasure beach, (for the kids) and the lake district (for the bigger kids and dogs)."

  The lodge was clean, well maintained and had everything you would need to stay. We we're so amazed at how well equipped it was, and the owner has really thought of everything, making it feel like home from home. We loved the welcome pack, and just shows how thoughtfull the owner is and cares about the people staying, including their four legged friends too. Unfortunately We didn't checkout the on site restaurant, but found a nice few pubs that were very local and done lovely food. We did check out the swimming pool though, which was lovely, and my son absolutely loved it, but the only one little gripe is that it cost £20 each time to use, which I wasn't expecting, and if you plan to do that every day, it obviously mounts up. But besides that i really haven't got anything bad to say one bit, and we had an absolutely amazing family holiday, would totally recommend and we will definitely be returning. Thanks shona for letting us stay in your absolutely gorgeous lodge, and south lakeland lesuire for putting up with us for a week!

• "The lodge is fantastic so clean and comfortable and has everything you could need a real home from home."

  It has a nice area to sit outside and we watched the ducks and rabbits passing by It is a good base for visiting Windermere, Coniston and the Lakeland motor museum is well worth a visit We would definitely recommend langdale lodge and the site in general the club and restaurant on site serve lovely meals and is dog friendly we wouldn’t hesitate to go back thanks Shona for a lovely stay the welcome pack was fantastic

• "Beautiful lodge with everything you need for a restful stay away."

  The complimentary tray and items were a bonus and Rosie loved the doggy biscuits. I honestly can't recommend this lodge enough. It is beautifuly set around a lake with lots of wonderful walks but also situated in a location with so many arractiins just a short drive. We can't thank Shona enough and will definitely be visiting again.

The doggie biscuits do come with a guarantee from my Dusty - he regularly does a 'taste test' so they reach the required standard - lol!! • "We had a fantastic stay in a beautiful well equipped lodge."

  We couldn’t have wanted for anything and the welcome was fantastic and unexpected. The weather was absolutely beautiful all week. • "What a FANTASTIC stay."

  Great welcome package on arrival and Shona had everything you could want and more. It really was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again. Would be nice to have a clothes horse to allow clothes to dry after washing and coffee pods for the Nespresso Vertuo as they cannot be bought in local stores.

Thank you for the tip about the coffee pods, I have amended the details I send out to customers prior to their arrival advising them they are able to buy more on-line or in Nespresso shops.
