The rural village of Arlecdon lies in peaceful countryside, just a stone's throw from the western border of the Lake District National Park. There is something for everybody in the local area; head just five miles west and reach the well-stocked coastal town of Whitehaven which has a wide variety of high-quality amenities as well as a choice of fascinating museums and a picturesque marina. Slightly north is brings you to the old market town of Cockermouth which makes for a lovely day out. One of the Lake District's more popular towns, Keswick, is a little over 20 miles away, visit this market town for a wealth of charming shops and eateries.
