  • "We were delighted with our recent stay at this bungalow."

The property has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the seaside and it was spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and a nice touch. The only thing that needs addressing is the very insecure toilet seat. However we found that the Sykes listing unfortunately has a few discrepancies. There is not an electric bed as stated and the postcode is incorrect and directs you to Warwick Road not Berwick Road plus the written directions make no sense whatsoever. We were so pleased with our overall stay that we booked another week as soon as we got home.

I’m so sorry for the toilet seat I admit I took my eye off the ball over that, let me assure it has been repaired As for the listing I shall talk to Sykes and have it all amended I hope non of it spoilt any of your stay Once again Fiona and I apologise Dave Property Owner

  • "The toilet seat is loose and needs tightening to make secure."

The outside space is full of invasive weeds especially Oxalis.

I’m sorry for the toilet seat I missed that but I can confirm it has been rectified As for the weed not being a gardener I thought they look quite nice and give a lot of ground cover Luckily with the outside being paved all around they are contained Now I know they are weeds we shall proceed to have them removed I do hope it did not spoil your stay with us Dave and Fiona Property Owner

  • "Greeted on arrival, everything fresh, clean and tidy."

Welcome starter supplies were most appreciated. The bungalow was just what it had shown in the listing and had all we could need for a weeks stay. St. Annes and Lytham were nice and hassle free. A run through the Blackpool Lights and back was a highlight. Fairhaven Lake also lovely for a gentle walk round.

  • "Beautiful bungalow."

Clean and comfortable with full facilities. Bit of a walk to nearest bus stop for people with mobility problems making it awkward to travel into Blackpool and beyond if you prefer not to take your car. Otherwise very enjoyable stay with immediate attention by owner regarding television/wifi problem.

  • "Clean and all necessary facilities were provided, property is approximately 1 mile from the centre of town and easily achieved on foot."

Parking at the property was no problem, this can be an issue with some property lettings in St. Anne's. We had an issue with the bed in the main bedroom, a little too small and with the bedding, plastic filling in the pillows and in the duvet. There are modern alternatives available at reasonable cost. Overall all not bad value for the money.

Thank you for comments The bed is a standard double and there are alternative duvets and pillows in the over head cupboards The bedding is of cotton or linen and the pillows are of several different fillings We hope this did not affect your stay to badly Dave and Fiona Property Owner

  • "A lovely comfortable bungalow."

Everything you could need for a holiday. Good location very quiet street. Just one thing I think the bathroom could do with the blind at the window. Also a key to the front porch would be a good idea. A lovely welcome basket was very much appreciated..

Hi Thank you for your kind remarks The glass in the bathroom is obscure glass and is quite heavy. The porch is left open in case it’s raining and the chubb lock on the original door is very safe We are very glad for your feed back and pleased you enjoyed your stay Dave and Fiona Property Owner

We were unfortunate with the weather so were grateful for the central heating and the conservatory. The games provided also got used. The kitchen was well equipped and we did make some meals.

  • "Had a great week at Berwick Road."

Peaceful and relaxing but so close to town. One or two wee problems that were immediately resolved by the lovely Fiona & David. Perfect property for me and my mum ( whose mobility is not great) so the wooden floors, wide doors etc were ideal. Will definitely be back.

The owners have provided all you'll need for comfortable stay in a quiet area not far from sea and town centre. I only used car twice in five nights as there are good bus routes nearby which link to trams. I fully recommend this holiday let and the area.

Thank you for your feed back It is our aim to welcome people to our home and make their stay comfortable Again Thank you Fiona Dave Property Owner

Blackpool 5.2 miles.

The seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes-on-Sea nestle along a picturesque stretch of coastline lined with pretty parks. For many centuries, the economy of this lovely area was dependent entirely on fishing until the beginning the Industrial Revolution, which resulted in the wealthy creating an affluent area, lasting until the present day. Lytham Green, a strip of grass running between the shore and the main coastal road, is a notable landmark, overlooking the River Ribble with views of the Welsh Mountains on a clear day, and home to the restored Windmill and Old Lytham Lifeboat House museum. Those interested in craft gin can take a tour of the Lytham Gin co., whilst walkers and twitchers will adore the rolling sandy dunes of St Annes-on-Sea and the Ribble Estuary providing a safe haven for more than 250,000 migrating birds that return each winter. The area is internationally renowned for golf with four courses to choose from, the most notable being the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, one of the host courses for the Open Championship. Traditional seaside pastimes can be enjoyed at St Annes-on-Sea with a pretty pier and charming little beach huts in an array of pastels offering visitors a unique, exciting addition for a day beside the sea.
