"We used the apartment as a base as we were out all day anyway."
Apartment and clean, warm and comfortable for the time we spent there. 5-10 mins walk only down to the front as well as into centre of town. Nice quiet area within easy reach of everything and would certainly visit again.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I am very pleased that you found the apartment suited your needs well. I hope you do visit again sometime. Property Owner

"Cute flat. Everything that is needed is there Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in."
Spotlessly clean. Good price point. The only thing I would say is for more info on how to use heating and maybe some more tourist info in folder. Thank you. Enjoyed our stay.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I love that bed myself - did not realise how comfortable it was when I bought it! The central heating has a hive thermostat on it. Maybe I could get some Internet instructions printed off fo the guest book for when I next visit myself. However, if in the mean time any guests are struggling they can contact me and I will switch the heating on using my mobile phone. Property Owner

"Did not stay here flat was very basic the only way you put the putyou up was in living room."
The settee was stained so they just put old throw over it . The kitchen floor had holes in the laminate.the flat smelled they had tried to cover it up with strong detergent but you could still smell the smoke the landings out outside areas were scuffy there was work being done in the flat below..when asked sykes to look into it they just asked the landlord who no surprise thought everything was OK so that's good?no inspection done by sykes
Thank you for taking the time to leave a response but I am shocked as your review does not align with our usual lovely feedback. We feel the property is very well represented on the Sykes website, and it is easy to gauge the size of Apartment 3 from the pictures online. It is true that the smaller bedroom does not have much room, however the put-up bed does fit in there. The pictures on the advert do not show this room to be large. The kitchen floor is not laminate, it is tiled. It is unfortunate that over the years people have accidentally chipped 2 of the tiles, but this should not affect staying there and nobody else has had issue with it. As you can see from previous feedback, we are very friendly and approachable, it is our aim for our guests to have a lovely stay so if there were problems, we would have acted to fix these straight away. I am sorry you chose to leave before we had time to rectify this. Other than that, I believe your complaints are fabricated. I am not sure why you have said these things, apart from the space was not what you expected (due to not looking at the advert closely enough), so you felt disappointed. To insinuate I don't care is very upsetting. I have put my heart and soul into that property and you have deeply affected me. Property Owner

"Overall our stay was good wc 27th May."
We did too have difficulty with hot water and water pressure in the property, which we alerted the owner too when we checked in. The rooms appear more spacious on the photos over all it was adequate for our few days away.
Thank you very much for your feedback. To reassure others I would like to say the hot water and heating is currently working in the apartment. However, it is needing some improvements which I am in the process of getting quotes for. Having re-looked at the photos I can see what you mean. I would like to say though that the apartment generally does not feel small, the bedrooms are comfortable, but would benefit from more space, but unfortunately there is nothing I can do about this! "Plumbing, heating and hot water provision not great Water pressure extremely ..."
Plumbing, heating and hot water provision not great Water pressure extremely poor Bedroom space very tight although beds / linen very comfortable
I apologise for the problem with the water heating. I do not know why it is not switching on automatically as I have set it to. Once you made me aware of this issue I made sure I was awake by 5 - 6am for the remainder of your stay to turn the water heating on (using the app on my phone) for you. The main issue with the water pressure that I am aware of is the shower. I am looking into having the shower and taps up-graded in the bathroom. I think the pictures on the advert clearly indicate the sizes of the bedrooms. The main bedroom does have a king sized bed in though and the second bedroom can fit (at a push) the camp bed next to the single bed if needed. I am glad you recognised the fantastic work of the wonderful cleaner I have found. Property Owner

"Overall good apartment however way to cold to stay with a toddler highest temperature after 3 continued days was 21."
3 it was so bitterly cold I would love to stay again however the radiators and windows need updating as they are drafty we had to use towels under doors and have the oil heater on continued threw out our stay to warm the apartment up
Thank you for your feedback, I will take your comments on board. I would like to add that at the time of your visit, particularly in the first day, the temperatures outside were sub-zero. For any people potentially visiting in the winter it is good to be aware that I do my best to provide adequate heating, however it is not the easiest place to keep warm. Please just be aware of this. It would be great if you could come in summer, those big windows actually make to place warm and light in the spring and I do not think it over- heats (unless a heat wave) in the summer. "Lovely building and the apartment was great, everything you need for your stay."
Quite a climb up the stairs but worth it when you got there. The only thing was the shower, not enough pressure, had to have a bath. Apart from that would recommend.

"We enjoyed out stay, its in walking distance to the beach and shops."
The flat was comfortable it could of done with better lamps for the evening and the bathroom had a broken towel holder and the surround of the mirror was cracked. So just needs a little improvement. Overall good.

"Good communications, as described, a few more cooking utensils would be good but that is a minor point, overall very good."
-
"A nice clean no nonsense apartment that says exactly what it is on the tin and in a lovely quiet street."
One little fault the shower wasn't very powerful but the rest is spot on .
