    Home from home, everything needed for your stay. There isn’t many places as organised as this lodge. Internet works superb which is a bonus at the Lake District. ;) The owners are very friends and a great help, they are there to reply as soon as you message them and nothing is a bother. Will defo return to this lodge in the future, had a fantastic time. Very relaxing. Thanks again!

  • "A lovely base for a Lakes holiday."

    Accommodation spotlessly clean, beautifully kitted out. Great beds, fluffy towels, warm, comfortable and a kitchen equipped better than my own! Thoughtful things you don’t always see in self catering places, loo rolls & dishwasher tablets, hand soap. We would definitely recommend and the owners were very keen to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

    The lodge was very comfortable and everything you could need was provided . The owners were very helpful and quick to respond and resolve when I had a couple of issues. The weather was atrocious — thank goodness I took my wellies ! Henry enjoyed walking in the Wood on the park.

    The lodge is beautiful and very homely. The place was well thought out, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Lodge was in a quiet location on the site only a few steps from the marina. Would thrououghly recommend and we fully intend to return. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

    The furnishings are lovely and the attention to detail by the owners are exceptional. It’s very well laid out and catered for our every need. The owners are very responsive and I’d not hesitate to recommend this lodge to other people, in fact I already have. I just hope it’s available again when we’d like to return!

    Well situated within the park, literally just a few seconds walk from the lake edge. The lodge was furnished to a high standard, well equipped and very clean. Great communication from the owners too. We can be a bit fussy and difficult to please but absolutely no complaints here and would definitely recommmend! Perfect for our young family.

    Everything you could possibly need, even the weather was good for us. The dogs loved the lodge, in a quiet position on the site and close to the lake. This was our third visit this year, which says it all.

  • "We have stayed at a number of properties on White Cross over the years and Bowness 66 beats them all."

    Clean, comfortable and extremely well stocked with glasses, cutlery, cleaning fluids etc. everything you could wish for from a home from home. Will definitely be back. One minor drawback, but all properties seem to have one these days - a ‘Henry’ - my pet hate. Takes twice as long as a conventional vacuum.
