"Excellent accommodation in a perfect rural setting whilst close proximity to Windermere."
Only minor issue was TV and wi-Fi did not always work.
Thank you for your comments. The Wi-Fi is newly installed and we shall check with the provider that the service is working properly. Property Owner

Standing in a simply outstanding setting with gorgeous views over the surrounding grounds, Deer Wood at Applethwaite Hall near Windermere in the Lake District is the perfect location for a family holiday or couples travelling together.
The property forms part of a stunning conversion of an impressive Arts and Crafts country house.
Inside, the ground-floor apartment is immaculately presented and whether it’s the summer and everything is in blossom or the winter when there’s snow on the ground, you couldn’t hope for a better setting.
The open-plan living space really does offer guests that all-important ‘wow’ factor with light and airy accommodation throughout from the ample-sized kitchen and the elegant dining table to the spacious sitting area with floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors really opening up the space and making the most of the views overlooking the green and lush gardens which surround the apartment.
You can imagine curling up on the sofa in the sitting area and chilling out, cooking up a storm in the wonderfully equipped kitchen or taking a seat in the stylish dining area and looking forward to long, leisurely meals together.
Should the weather allow then step out onto the delightful terrace where you can enjoy spending time alfresco.
This really is an all-year-round space with the terrace equally appealing in the summer when you can enjoy cocktails while soaking up the views or the winter, when you can curl up under a blanket and indulge in a warming cup of hot chocolate at the same time as immersing yourself in the gorgeous scenery.
When it’s time for bed, both bedrooms have TVs and are equally well-presented with the master suite boasting an opulent en-suite shower room and a fabulous family bathroom services the twin bedroom.
After a refreshing coffee on the terrace in the morning, it’s time to start planning your day.
