In good weather better. View over lake lovely & you can see all changes in weather happening. Accomodation ideal for small young family , I enjoyed mt time there in November .

  • "Lake View, 2 Priory Cottages."

A generally pleasant property mid-terrace, on an upper set of five properties in a row. There is another row lower down. The heating is all-electric, and extra heaters were provided in the cold November weather. Generally good, but areas of poor maintenance were visible. The only real problem was the outside light not working. There is a path down to the lake for those staying. Parking for this property is close and down a short steep hill. About a 15-minute walk from Windermere village. The property is very close to the junction of the A591 & the A592. This gives good access to the road network to visit other areas. No washing machine. The shower was good.

  • "Hi, We had a nice stay at 2 Priory's Cottages."

It was a lovely location with the lake view. Though it was small, it was adequate for a small family to stay in Windermere. Had a good parking spot too. It would have been good if a dish washing liquid and kitchen towels were provided, but we managed to buy it from a local store. Overall we liked the stay and would stay here again. Thankyou!

  • "The property was lovely."

Kitchen and living area very well appointed and comfortable. Double bed very comfy! We didn’t use the second room as there was only two of us. The little electric fire was a nice touch , created a nice ambience in the evening. The shower was fab. Water pressure excellent. Lovely view of the lake from outside seating. Couple of reasons we would probably not return to this particular property though. The driveway from Rayrigg road is ridiculously steep and I feel it should be highlighted in the description on the website. The main road is also exceptionally busy with constant traffic with points where there is no pavement. It is is also very dark at night so walking back from Bowness quite treacherous! The internet connection was very intermittent too making watching tv in the evening difficult to watch streaming services. It would also benefit from a slightly larger tv. A couple of other points. The bathroom door did not close properly and there was mention of a garden but we couldn’t find it! All in all though a lovely property if you are fit enough to climb the driveway and are not bothered by the internet issue and for us it was a little to far away from Bowness centre walking for us personally.

  • "This a perfectly located cottage on the outskirts of Windermere."

Very quiet and set in lovely grounds with a nice walk down to the jetty on Lake Windermere. All areas of the Lakes accessible from here. The cottage was clean, tidy and the facilities were good. Wifi worked well too. The only item I would suggest for the kitchen is a pair of oven gloves. Thank you for a lovely stay and we were blessed with good weather.
