  • "Nice lodge on the whole."

However we felt that the furniture requires updating as the sofa is in poor condition . The master suite is great but the single beds in bedroom 2 are very dated and uncomfortable. The kitchen facilities and the tv’s are great. With a few tweaks the lodge would represent better value for money. The situation of the lodge is great for being in the heart of the Lakes.

Thank you for choosing Tawny Owl Lodge and for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Frances and John Property Owner

  • "Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful lodge."

We all had a brilliant time, the children loved making friends and playing in the park. Everything that was provided with the lodge was used, oven cooked a lovely toad in the hole :)! Highly recommend, and will be looking to book a week here again soon. 5 Stars!
