  • "We had a lovely stay in Holmere Bank for 5 nights."

We were a family party of 12. The house is even more impressive in real life than in the photos. The beds were very comfortable and the huge dining table was great for accomodating us all. The cinema room and the games room were a bonus. The electric vehicle charging point was also very welcome. The owners were very helpful and communicative. The location is also excellent, as it's near the borders of both Yorkshire and Cumbria. We enjoyed easy trips out to Lancaster, White Scar Caves, Leighton Hall, Ingleton waterfall trails and a long walk from the house to Jenny Brown's Point on the coast. Overall, would thoroughly recommend it.

  • "It was a loverly property & we had a great time Beds were very comfortable- everything worked However small points to mention were the grill was dirty on first use."

There was a shortage of saucepans (large one). Also the scissors in the kitchen are unusable This did not stop us having a great family holiday in fantastic accommodation Thank you

  • "Lovely house ideal for a large family gathering."

Only real criticism is felt the kitchen was not adequately equipped to cook for 14 people.

  • "We had a wonderful stay."

The property was ideal for a large family group of mixed ages. The games room was a real hit with the teenagers. The only one point to note is the majority of the bedroom windows are unable to be opened which made it very warm of a night.

  • "We had a lovely stay, beautiful house and in a perfect location with all the amenities we needed for our break."

It is a pet friendly home and there were a few pet hairs around the house etc but didn’t impact out stay. Forgot to pack a travel iron and needed on while we were there, the property didn’t have one but we got by. The owner has assured us he’ll have one for our next stay because we’ll definitely be visiting again.

  • "We spent a lovely weekend in this stunning property."

The house is beautifully decorated with impassive views. The family loved the games room and most of use spent most evenings playing pool, the others retired to the cinema room. We even watched the football on the large screen. The property is in a quiet area and in easy reach of the RSPB reserve and a short drive to either the lakes or coast. Would definitely recommend.
