"The cottage was well presented with 5 good size bedrooms, a little snug with a TV for those who wanted to watch something different or just a bit of time out."
The games room is a great addition, we had a lot of laughs playing darts and pool on an evening, there was a hot tub however we didn't use this on this visit as the weather was a little cooler. The lounge is well laid out with a large TV. The kitchen has everything needed to cook lovely meals, although we opted to go out for our evening meal to a lovely pub (Bridge End Inn) which is well worth a visit. 3 fully equipped bathrooms made getting ready much easier for larger groups. An added touch was the lovely welcome pack Kerry left. Daisy Cottage was an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area, I would highly recommend the cottage.

"What a great stay we have just had at the lovely Daisy Cottage."
It really is a home from home but with special added touches of the hot tub and games room. Everywhere was very clean and tidy, everything had it's place, the host really has thought of everything you might need while you're staying there.
The beds are super comfy, some of the best we've slept in. The rooms are all a great size, brilliant for everyones needs, they've even considered children and their requirements with a great little snug next to the twin room.
We had the best weekend with friends, taking a break from life, relaxing and enjoying the scenery and chilling in the hot tub.
Made some great food in the kitchen, which had everything you could ever need and ordered out one night from a lovely place in Wigton, which is a short drive down the road.
Daisy Cottage is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas. We definitely want to visit again and explore more, next time with the family now we know how lovely it is.
We also loved looking at the cows and chickens on the nearby farm, great being in the countryside.

"A wonderful weekend for our family of 10 trip."
Parking for 3 cars. Cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped. Kitchen was well stocked and a lovely welcome package awaited our arrival. Hot tub, pool table and dart board were perfect for family fun. Local walks were beautiful; particularly at sunset. The perfect weekend to relax, reconnect and spend quality family time together.

"Had a great week away here at daisy cottage."
It had everything we needed and more. Loved the games room, snug and hot tub. Loved having the cows so close to us and kerry had left a lovely welcome package. Thanks for a great week away would come back again in a heartbeat. We did have a couple of minor issues whilst we were staying but kerry was great at getting in touch and sorting out the issues so didn't ruin our holiday. Thankyou

"Lovely place and surroundings."
We enjoyed our family stay and Kerry had left us some milk, free range eggs, milk, tea, coffee etc etc, very kind.
Nothing to complain about other than unfortunately we seemed to have stayed at a very busy period. Tractors are loud and unfortunately they were driving up and down the road right outside, at some speed. This continued past midnight which made sleeping for us and the kids rather difficult. This is not on the host though.
Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

We’re sorry to hear the tractors disturbed your sleep during your visit. "Lovely property in a rural location."
Comfortable bedrooms most of which are a really good size. The hot tub is lovely and was great for chilling out. My children really enjoyed the games room. The living room was comfortable and the wood burner made it cosy. Lovely welcome tray. we would definitely book again.

"We wanted to escape the city and booked a break at Daisy Cottage it felt like a breath of fresh air."
From the moment we arrived, the lovely welcome hamper and toiletries made us feel instantly welcome.
The cottage is full of charm, with cosy rooms and a lounge with a fire that was perfect for relaxing in the evening. A dip in the hot tub under the open sky was a real highlight.
We enjoyed a peaceful walk through the nearby village and loved waking up to the quiet countryside – even the friendly neighbouring cows added to the experience! We had one of the best night’s sleeps in ages.
Daisy Cottage was the perfect place to switch off, slow down and reconnect with nature and our family. We left wishing we had booked longer.
