It was warm & comfy but would benefit from a dishwasher, cloths & pan scrubbers & more kitchen equipment.

15 to find the cleaner still there, no apology so we had to wait .After a 6 hour drive you expect to be able to access property at the agreed time. Plates, cutlery and glasses all dirty, no washing up liquid or dishwasher. Empty hand wash containers in bathrooms. Freezer needed to be de frosted Broken glass in the fireplace area Lack of privacy , needed net curtains for sitting room and first floor as caravan site directly opposite. No hairdryer in top floor bedroom. Old smelling pot of paint under bed on top floor.

The cottage was everything we had been looking forward to and a bit more. A beautiful chocolate box cottage and so cosy for the cold wet winters nights nights. WiFi was excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. The bed were soo comfy. The cottage was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend The Old Tanyard.

I could not recommend it highly enough. It’s extremely comfortable, warm and clean. James and Sue are extremely helpful but certainly not intrusive. I will certainly be recommending it to my friends. So, thank you!

  • "Superb cottage."

Set in a great location central for everything. We've stayed in Ingleton quite a few times and this was the best accommodation yet. Well maintained, good facilities and beautiful decor. The river is almost outside the lounge window and quite loud with all the rainfall, but not a problem. Quite soothing actually. Parking is fairly easy outside. Although a local advised us to park anywhere, even on the writing. My son did so once, and got a handwritten note from an annoyed resident on his screen. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

The accommodation has everything you need with the added bonus of a balcony! Great views of the river and viaduct and stars at night. The sofas are extreme comfortable as were the beds. Kitchen was well equipped and well thought out. Smart TV even understands Scottish accents

We had only one comment the TV having to talk the TV came on it took a bit of getting used how to work it,and the cooker we had to read the manual tofind out how it worked may be it was our age that was a reason but a great time sorry we had to leave.

  • "3 generations shared this beautiful cottage in Ingleton."

3 good sized bedrooms, one family bathroom with bath and shower and one beautiful en suite shower room on the second floor. So clean and well equipped. Quality furnishings and bedding. Heating controlled as you wanted it. Large Sky tv. Great Wi-Fi. Plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery and pans. We loved the view of the river Greta from the rear windows and balcony. No garden. Parking a little tricky unless your car fits in the garage provided. Also tricky uphill walking to the village for less able people like me. Lots to see and do in and around the village. My family loved the waterfall walk. Would recommend this beautiful property to anyone.

  • "We were delighted with 3 The Old Tanyard, it was everything and more than we had hoped it would be."

The cottage was modern, light, well equipped and beautifully furnished with all fittings of a very high standard. The property had also been cleaned to a high standard and prepared for our arrival splendidly with lovely touches in every room including a welcome tray of wine, crisps and biscuits. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the view of the river from the windows and enjoyed the outside terrace, for a drink in the evening. We found the cottage to be quiet, relaxing and so handy for the village and all the walks. The cottage was perfect for our short break, many thanks to the owners and the housekeeper for all their attention to detail.

  • "Thank you for allowing us to fulfill our wish of enjoying the Yorkshire dales and the beautiful scenery."

We enjoyed our short stay. We found it all easy to adjust with your guidance. Some of us found the bed soft and springy, but it was acceptable for us. Cereal bowls would be good apart from the soup plates. Thanks again❤️
