"Extremely disappointed that there was no internet in the property."
It was advertised with a smart TV - which means connected to the internet, but there was none. I needed to do some work, so I had to sit on the bedroom windowsill where I could just get a weak 4G signal, and hotspot my phone. No instructions for heating or dishwasher etc - I worked it out, but there should be some reference guides, and also recycling instructions. The welcome pack was a loaf of bread, a fruit bread and some eggs and milk. Most places I've stayed at give a bottle of wine, some nice biscuits / crisps / chocolate etc. There were no pint / large glasses, only a few small tumblers. The wine glasses were more champagne style than red / white wine. The decor in the lounge was lovely, but hard to find a spare plug socket to charge a phone / tablet. Another, small but annoying thing - 2 identical keys - one for front door, one for back door - would be nice if they were colour coded so you could get the right key every time, instead of fiddling in the dark. Maybe have the outside light on a pir so you can see to get into the house in the dark, and operate the keysafe, instead of fumbling with mobile phone in one hand and trying to unlock with the other... Overall a 2 star property.

"We were disappointed that the cottage advertised a Smart TV but there it was not connected to the internet so was just a basic terrestrial tv."
There were no instructions for the heating system and no notes about how to recycle. As a dog friendly cottage we would have expected some info on local dog walks and details of local attractions. On the plus side the bread, milk and eggs, etc was very welcome b

"Overall we were delighted with this property, especially its location close to Clitheroe and Bowland."
The house was very comfortable with everything one could possibly hope for in a holiday home. We also received some welcome provisions for which we were very grateful as it saved us a evening trip to the supermarket in Clitheroe. There was also a small carefully tended and enclosed garden area for our spaniel which we greatly appreciated. And the neighbours were just lovely! If we had one (very small) comment, it was that we could not find any instructions for the shower and appliances; we worked it out in the end. Other that that, we really enjoyed our stay and we hope to return to Bowland again soon.

"Lovely cottage in a nice quiet village."
Plenty of walks around the area. Welcome pack was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. On our visit we had lots of rain, no place to dry our things, would recommend having an inside clothes airer.
