  • "The trip away was absolutely amazing."

The pictures don't even justify how wonderful the property is. Amanda and Paul were both amazing, went through the extra effort of decorating the house in and out for Christmas. The lights around the house and on the tree outside looked stunning. So spacious as well. Would definitely go back again.

  • "The farm is excellent for a family get together."

Looks small on outside but it’s like a tardis inside. Kids loved try hot tubs. Amanda and Paul are the owners and were very helpful. They recommended Georgia a beauty therapist to come and give the ladies treatments on two days and she was lovely . The chefs recommended by Sykes were also very good.

  • "This was a fabulous holiday property."

Plenty of room it a beautiful house decor good beds very comfortable. The whole family loved it plenty of space outside for the children to play. 2 hot tubs were great sauna a bit small though. The only thing we would probably ask for is a couple of large pots for cooking. The owner was nice and friendly responded quickly when we called him. Would definitely recommend this house and would come again.

Paul was very friendly and there if we needed him for anything. Ideal location for a base, plenty of outdoor space, we didnt use the steam room much but the 2 hot tubs got used a lot as did the games room which was a big hit with the grandkids. In a nutshell we couldnt fault it

  • "We had a fabulous time at Lower Flass Farm."

The facilities were excellent, especially the hot tubs and games room, and there were thoughtful touches such as the generous towel allowance for both bath and hot tub use. A relaxing, comfortable venue with superb quality beds, ample parking space and in an attractive, peaceful setting, I would highly recommend this as a venue for a celebration and/or family holiday.

  • "Beautiful house, with everything we needed."

Great location and a peaceful stay. We made good use of the jacuzzi and the rooms were designed well and very comfortable. If I were to make any improvements, they would only be very minor... the toaster needs replacing, there was a stain on my bed runner, we couldn’t get normal tv channels on the living room TV and maybe the hot tub could be cleaned after a couple days, but these weren’t really a big issue and we really did have a wonderful time and will definitely return with a bigger group. I would 100% recommend.

Overall Cottage really nice the owners will try to help you out as much or as little as you want , a few pointers which need addressing , The WiFi is poor and keeps dropping out ,this easy a big issue if you need to check email or kids want social media, no sky sports on tv , the kitchen needs new utensils ,a few things are broken or missing , we were a large group who ate in quite a bit and new kitchen utensils are required , overall the place is nice and in a quite area , 4 out of 5 stars

  • "We have just arrived back after spending 3 nights to celebrate a special birthday with family."

There were 21 of us in the group and everyone was overwhelmed at what this beautiful property had to offer. The living accommodation was fantastic as this offered lots of space to relax and dine without the feeling of being overcrowded. The outdoor hot tubs and games room were an added bonus which just added to everyone's enjoyment. The bedrooms were exceptional and of a very high standard with most having access to an ensuite. The kitchen provided everything needed to cater for large gatherings. The only downside was the range cooker tended to be a bit slow when cooking for so many but there is the use of the Aga as well and we had difficulty accessing channels some of the main TV chancels on the main TV in the living room. Would also recommend a sign from the road leading up to the property as this proved a little difficult actually locating the property itself.

  • "We stayed at lower house farm for a joint bride hen weekend."

It was unbelievable from start to finish!! The space of the cottage was beyond any expectations with the most beautiful furniture, bedding and blankets. The kitchen/living room seemed to be our area of choice as it was ideal for our many games for a large party. The two hot tubs were a perfect touch late at night when hens had danced their feet off and voices were sore from singing. The grounds were stunning and the owner was lovely. He made us feel welcome, no issue was too big or too small, any questions we had he was at the end of the phone answering them. I would 100% stay here again as a party or as a chilled get together. It would he ideal for any situation.

The property

A lavish, stone-built farmhouse with accompanying refurbished barn, located on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, in Bolton by Bowland, Clitheroe.

This is a truly astonishing property, surrounded by country fields, horses, and beautiful walking routes.

It’s an ideal spot for large families or a group of friends looking to celebrate in style.

It features ten bedrooms, two in the barn, two downstairs in the main building, perfect for the elderly or those with limited mobility, offering wet rooms and fantastic views, five on the second floor, and one on the third floor attic room.

There is a games room within the separate barn - the perfect hideaway for the kids!

Most of the bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms/wet rooms; however, the family bathroom features an impressive Jacuzzi bath, a great way to relax before the end of your day.

The brick walled kitchen hosts an impressive dining table, seating sixteen people, accompanied by an AGA, three separate electric ovens, and a drinks fridge both in the kitchen and two in the utility - the hub of the house, allowing you to host a party and bring the family together to create everlasting memories.

Attached to this is a smaller breakfast area/dining room fit for eight people, the ideal meeting place, before beginning your day exploring the wonders of Clitheroe.

End your day in the sitting room huddled around the open woodburning stove and large television, whilst dinner is simmering on the AGA.

Or if you’re after a more energetic and entertaining evening, head to the children’s play room on the second floor, or outside where you will be greeted by a games room fit with a bar, seating area, pool table, football table, and sound system, what could be a better place for a reunion?

Linked to this you can also find a hot tub, as well as an additional hot tub outside, so you can sip on champagne as the sun goes down.

The large fire pit with ample seating is a great place for all the family to join together and toast marshmallows, whilst stargazing amongst the beautiful country fields and surrounding stables.

Just a short walk away from the entrance of Forest Beck, you can reward yourself with a refreshing beverage after a long walk at one of Bolton by Bowland’s lovely gastro pubs.

Within easy reach of the property you will find Gisburn Forest, a fairy-tale woodland for gentle walks or an award-winning mountain bike trail with challenging hills.

Get amongst nature at the Bowland Wild Boar Park, a fun-filled family day out surrounded by cuddly creatures, or enrich yourself with history at the Clitheroe Castle Museum.

Further afield you can find Pendle Hill, famous for its witch trails of the 16th century, a mysterious and wicked wonder.

Lower Flass Farm is a superb property, offering something for all the family, both in the cottage itself and within the surrounding area, it’s sure to be a trip you’ll never forget.
