"Had such a lovely week at Ribblesdale Cottage."
The cottage was perfect for location and very well equipped. One of the only cottages we have stayed in that had plenty of storage space in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the views from the back of the house amazing. We will definitely be back!

"Not normally a problem but ITV was “no signal” all week."
Since the Euros was on, this was not ideal. Luckily, I could access App on my I-pad

"Lovely, spacious property, well equipped and was in a great location for the things that we wanted to do during our holiday."
The view out the back was stunning and the welcome hamper with bits for our children was a lovely touch (though the crackers were out of date!). The downsides for us were the amount of dog hairs everywhere, our clothes were literally covered constantly; the cleanliness - it was obvious a quick clean rather than a good clean had been done, hence the issues with the dog hairs, under the dining table hadn't been swept for example, and there was all manner of stuff splattered all down the front of every cabinet and drawer in the kitchen and up the tiles. So much so I had to try and clean it a bit so our young children could touch anything. And finally the heating - the upstairs was like an oven and the downstairs like the arctic when the heating was on (as only 2 radiators for the whole of downstairs), so take lots of layers if staying in colder months.
Dear Visitor I am very sorry that there were some issues with the cleanliness of the house. We take this very seriously and have not had these issues before. I will make sure these are addressed and do not happen again. I am very pleased you loved the location and the property itself, we are very proud of our little cottage in the Dales. Property Owner

"Thank you for another stay in your lovely cottage."
It is warm and comfortable, well equipped and positioned. And then, there is that fabulous view from the dining room window, we didn't tier of just sitting and watching the livestock up on the fells. I have no doubt that we will be back for the hat-trick

"Really lovely holiday home, very central to settle town centre."
We found the house very comfortable for 4 adults and a dog, with secure seating area outside and beautiful views. Thoughtful welcome pack with a range of goodies was appreciated. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

"Perfect for a group of 6 adults with plenty of space to relax and socialise ."
A great base for access to lots of walks to suit all abilities. Immaculately clean throughout, there are two very spacious bedrooms, however the third double bedroom is small with no wardrobes and very little space to move around - but the bed was very comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped should you wish to cook - but there are also lots of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance catering for all tastes. (We particularly enjoyed a visit to Darlings Thai restaurant/takeaway.) The hot water supply was limited and also inconsistent.(Sometimes there was hot water first thing in the morning, but on other days there seemed to only be hot water to one of the bathrooms) The rear yard area is pleasant and nicely furnished making it a nice place to sit out and admire the view.

"Ribblesdale cottage was spotlessly clean and in a perfect position for the town and also the surrounding area."
The beds were really comfortable, the showers were lovely and warm and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. The only thing to mention is that the garden is more of a yard which is not a problem unless you have a dog that likes grass! All in all we would definitely reccomend this property.

"Providing basic essentials such as milk, butter etc and additional touches such as providing snacks & a bottle of wine is a nice touch and very much appreciated."
At first I was worried if the cottage would be ok for 6 adults however as it’s spread over 3 floors and has 2 bathrooms plus the dining area was easily big enough for our group to eat & socialise we found it worked very well. The living room also provided another relaxing space. The cottage’s good location in the town along easy access to shops, pubs & restaurants plus it’s location within easy reach of all the walks in the area meant we had a really nice time here and would definitely recommend and come again.

"We loved our stay at Ribblesdale Cottage."
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need should you wish to cook and lovely touch of providing teabags, milk, butter as well some sweet treats and wine. The cottage is comfortable with stunning views out the back and very comfortable beds. Settle town centre and Train station is literally a 5 minute walk. I would definitely recommend staying here, we will book again if we are ever in the area again.
