"Great location but the property is a little tired."
Decor is outdated and wallpaper starting to come away. Hot water water slow to arrive and our toilet was struggling to flush. It would be great to have a hairdryer. But not bad value for money and proximity of Keswick- Threlkeld walk very handy.

"Absolutely fantastic stay- this apartment was everything we needed and I was so so glad to see it was perfectly cleaned."
My only quarms would be the obvious damp in the property that meant my daughter's rooms was at 80% humidity (according to the thermometer) at night and it was made all our things smell. The pillows were also too hard and my daughter's travel cot mattress was clearly super old and lumpy and hard. That's why I gave slightly lower rating for comfort. But everything was so fantastic I would still recommend :) thankyou

"All good, no complaints."
Great location as walking base, clean and quiet. Helpful staff Well equipped Comfortable rather than luxurious, sofa a bit soft and lounge lighting not too convivial

"Following our recent stay at The Bobbin Mill, Keswick commencing on the 26th April for 10 nights, I feel that we should make you aware of the following issues, which we found on arrival."
1. The lock on the toilet door did not work. 2. The kitchen drawer front was loose and actually came off after a couple of uses. 3. The shower head was filthy and required replacement. 4. The curtain rail in the lounge came apart and fell down, damaging the lamp shade. These problems were all reported to Reception but unfortunately as it was a Friday afternoon, the maintenance man did not arrive until Monday morning. He fitted a bolt on the toilet door and replaced the shower head. Although he repaired the kitchen drawer, the drawer front soon came off again. My husband repaired the curtain pole himself and rehung the curtain. There was no hoover or carpet sweeper provided, which meant that we had to clean up any crumbs etc with the dustpan and brush. We also noticed two fold up beds in the downstairs staircase enclosure, which should be a sterile area to allow safe means of escape in event of a fire. I have to say that I was very disappointed with the standard of the accommodation facilities, which did not live up to my expectations. I would feel reluctant to book through your Company in the future, despite your offer of a discount code. I await your comments.
Thank you for your review, we appreciate all our guest feedback and will take your comments into careful consideration. I can only apologise about the issues you had whilst staying at Low Briery. I will be sure to liaise with the relevant staff members and find out why these issues were not dealt with sooner, as this is not in keeping with our usual high standards. We unfortunately do not have enough storage for a hoover in each apartment, but will certainly take this into consideration and look to make one readily available for those who wish to use one. The fold-up beds are used quite often in our apartments and therefore need to be kept in the building, so they are stored underneath the stairs, all fire exits are kept completely clear. Thank you again for your feedback, we do hope you will consider us again for your next break in The Lakes. Property Owner
