"We have just spent a wonderful, relaxing week at Granary Loft."
Helen and Peter are lovely hosts, friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. We really appreciated the welcome gift of a carton of milk and flowers. Granary Loft has everything you need for a perfect stay. It is warm, clean, and spacious with a fabulously big and comfortable bed! It was a great base to return to after exploring the local area. There are several National Trust properties nearby: the beautiful Belton Estate, Woolsthorpe Manor ( the home of Sir Isaac Newton) and The Workhouse and Infirmary. They are all very interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Lincolnshire and our week at Granary Loft and plan to return in the near future. Caroline and Kevin

"A very comfortable and convenient base for exploring an interesting area We only had 3 days there but easily fitted in trips to Belvoir Castle gardens, Isaac Newton’s birthplace at Woolsthorpe Manor and the magnificent Belton House, all very close nearby."
The owners provided suggestions for countryside walks and we particularly enjoyed a walk in Denton around a feeder reservoir for the Grantham canal where we saw herons and cormorants.

"Excellent accommodation, with everything we needed."
Comty seating, comfy bed, nice shower. Very friendly hosts. Great communication beforehand. Enjoyed sitting in the garden, which is set in peaceful surroundings. The dog got use of the paddock for zoomies (he was gutted to come home lol!) The Viking way path to the airfield is good dog walk, but it is quite overgrown in places, after the rain we got a bit soggy! Belton House, Lincoln ( dog friendly cathedral) and Stamford town all worth a visit. A smart TV would be a good addition. Football was on (grrr) so nothing much to watch on the 'normal' channels. There's a DVD player, I didn't see it on the listings or I'd have took some DVDs. There's also a small Freezer which was a bonus. Very enjoyable holiday in beautiful surroundings, ideal for a relaxing holiday.

"Great accommodation both inside and out, with everything needed for a home from home stay."
Absolutely perfect for us holidaying with a dog. Friendly hosts too; nothing too much trouble, helped make our break even better.

"Granary Loft."
.... What can we say! A wonderful break for us all, including Harley our Collie cross Labrador. Helen and Peter made us feel realy welcome and at home, they loved Harley! The milk and Daffodils were an added bonus, beautiful. It was above and beyond our expectations, lovely and peaceful, with plenty of walks nearby, including the Viking way, about a hundred yards or so from our front door! Everything was clean and tidy and warm as well, all the amenities you could wish for a welcome break. A very comfortable queen size bed to rest our weary heads, after a busy day exploring. Many lovely villages to visit and superb ale houses which also provided excellent beer and food. Not far to travel to Belvoir Castle and the Grantham canal. We were so laid back we were horizontal, a superb place for our two week break and plenty of space for Harley to run and play. The weather was pants, but we were warm and dry, a wonderful place for a real break from the hussle and bussle of the busy world in which we now live. We shall definitely book again and are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much Helen and Peter. God bless you. Nick and Margaret.

"Fabulous property, in a lovely quiet part of the world."
Good base with plenty going on nearby, gorgeous sunrise through the loft window and friendly owners, who were extremely helpful if needed. Would highly recommend and my dog and I will definitely be returning to one of the nicest places we have ever been to.

"We had a wonderful stay at Granary Loft and were welcomed by Helen and Peter who made us feel at home."
Thank you for the milk and flowers left for us. The loft was a brilliant base for us to explore the area. We experienced some lovely sunrises and sunsets from the roof window and enjoyed the views over the countryside. Our accommodation was so comfortable and cosy, with the highlight of the underfloor heating in the large bathroom. Everything we needed was provided to make our stay excellent, especially the super king bed. Thank you so much for our much needed break and we will certainly love to visit again if we are in the area.
Sally what a super review thank you . To reciprocate you and Mike were the perfect guests leaving the Loft in immaculate order. Have a lovely run into Christmas Helen Property Owner

"Well, what can I say, absolutely fantastic cottage, clean, comfortable, cosy and very peaceful."
Loved it so much we have just booked for two weeks in December. Tommy, our springer spaniel, loved the paddock and sitting on top of the steps surveying the world. Helen and Peter were the perfect hosts where nothing was to much trouble. Thank you so much, see you in December. Kay & Tony xx

"Lovely studio apartment with plenty of room for 2 people."
Helen and Peter were very friendly and lovely to talk to, recommending a couple of places to visit which we really enjoyed. We had 30°c heat which was surprising for September then a few day's later a day of rain at 17°c, the Loft was very comfortable in both 'extremes '.

"Beautiful property and location with lovely outside space."
Hoping to go back for an extended stay.

"Just returned from a wonderful, relaxing week at Granary Lodge."
The hosts were fantastic, genuine, lovely people, from the first email to returning the keys nothing was too much and they always had a smile. The lodge is clean and comfortable with everything you need. We made lots of use of the outside space having bbqs most evenings followed by a relax around the log fire, our hosts even provide the logs. The setting is very rural and we did lots of walking and cycling around the local picturesque villages. Would definitely return and highly recommend. John and Julie

"Had a lovely week at Granary Loft with my dog Otis."
The loft was really comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed. We had use of the paddock to play ball and the patio area as well. We enjoyed plenty of walks in the area and found the maps with various routes for suggested walks really helpful. Helen and Peter were really welcoming too, always ready to help out and even provided delicious raspberries from their garden. It was a really relaxing break and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet break in the country. Thanks for a great stay!
Louise thank you so much for that lovely review You and Otis will be made very welcome to come back whenever you like P and H x Property Owner

"The grannery loft is ideal for a relaxing holiday, set in a lovely location with lots of walks in the area and the Viking way on the doorstep."
The loft itself is a clean and cosy with all the amenities you need. The owners Peter and Helen couldn't be more helpful providing maps and information of the area and even letting us use their adjoining field to let our dog Charlie have a run. Looking forward to returning.

"The Granary Loft is a wonderful place to stay, its very clen, tidy, and extremely comfortable."
The kitchen has everything you need, and there is a wonderful large walk in shower. It also has it's own private outdoor area, and Helen & Peter are lovely hosts, there when you need them, but they also give you your privacy. It is situated in a lovely quiet area, with some wonderful walks right on the doorstep. We will be returning again in the future.
What a lovely review Many thanks Gillian Property Owner

"Very comfortable accommodation, exactly as advertised, friendly owners, very happy."

"I would very highly recommend Granary Loft to anyone travelling alone, as I was, or as a couple."
The loft is up an outdoor staircase, and inside it is beautiful. Very light and airy, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hairdryer was missing when I arrived, but I was supplied with a replacement within minutes, Helen and Peter are very welcoming and care that you enjoy your stay with them. Poppy ( my dog) and I had a lovely time. Thank you, Helen and Peter.

"We found Granary Loft exceedingly comfortable and it more than lived up to our expectations."
The owners were very friendly, were always there if we needed anything but left us to enjoy our holiday undisturbed. There was a small problem with the shower which they got fixed immediately. Despite it being a studio appartment there was also a good outdoor seating area and bike storage which proved very useful. We would have no hesitation in recommending Granary Loft for two people seeking a base for enjoying the Lincolnshire/Leicestershire border area.

"Exactly where we wanted to be with our planned walking day"
-
"The granary loft far exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived at the wonderful setting of Peter and Helen's property."
The loft was exemplary in its size and layout and the gorgeous, tasteful decor truly made it a home away from home. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and would gladly stay again. Peaceful and tranquil setting with a great private courtyard to enjoy the late afternoon and evening sun with logs blazing away in the fire pit after a days exploring and walking on the many beautiful routes easily accessible from the loft. A truly fabulous experience and 10/10 all day long !!!!!

Just gorgeous.

"This was our 3rd visit to the Loft and we love it."
It is ideally located so we have walks with the dog on the doorstep and it is not far from Grantham where we meet up with friends.

The hosts are always very helpful. We particularly enjoy the peaceful setting, and exploring the local villages and varied markets. Jenny and David, Hertfordshire
