"We had a lovely few days at this comfortable cottage."
The kitchen was adequate for our needs and the welcome pack was appreciated. Thank you :-) My Husband has mobility issues so the downstairs bedroom was great as was the downstairs "wet room". The entrance to the cottage is at the back of the property and a handrail on the steps would be a useful addition and in keeping with making it disabled friendly. No problems with cleanliness or comfort....the beds were lovely and the seating comfortable. The heating was easy to work and not limited but the cottage soon warms up so it wasn't needed much of the time. Loads of hot water as well. Our neighbours in the adjoining cottage were absolutely lovely and their little dog Lucy was a treasure. I just wish we'd exchanged contact details now. lol. Sandra...the owner...... was also a lovely lady and went the extra mile to try and find our grandsons ball after he'd kicked it over the wall......thank you for that. If you want peace and quiet then this is the place to stop........only birdsong and no road noise.......and dark night skies. We did have one issue though and that was the internet connection which was virtually non-existent. I understand that rural areas often don't have a decent connection so if you need to be "connected" then this lovely cottage probably isn't for you. I know that the choice of owners network has been experiencing problems throughout the country (3) so maybe that was the issue. I needed e-mail contact though and I couldn't access it and our grandson was very miffed that he couldn't play his games. For that reason alone we probably wouldn't return which is a shame because everything else was perfect. Maybe a "Sky" connection might be beneficial to future bookings because it's the way the world is heading nowadays. People need to know in advance of making a decision on booking anyhow. For many it won't matter but equally for many it will matter. Maybe wi-fi shouldn't be included in the property description because if it doesn't work very well then it isn't an asset. Regardless of the internet connection I can still recommend your charming cottage as a peaceful and tranquil place to be. :-)
Thank you very much for your feedback. I am not too sure what you mean about a handrail as there are handrails already on the ramp for guests to use. As for the internet, it states clearly in our details that streaming is a little bit slower but emails and Facebook and everything else is perfectly fine. I am very sorry to hear you had issues, I wish you would have contacted us during your stay as we could have looked to resolve this for you immediately. Thank you again for your feedback. WE NOW HAVE STARLINK INTERNET superfast and never fails. Property Owner

"A couple of minor personal points, higher water pressure in the shower; bigger, softer bath towels, the current ones are a bit small and thin; the extractor fan in the shower room wasn't working; the oven only had one shelf, needs a second."
Other than the prior, everything was fantastic. I would suggest rather than have all the signs and notes all over the house, put them into a folder, it's so much easier to find any information that way. Last thing, the WiFi isn't the most reliable as it is shared with the owner, so several people could be using it at the same time.
WE NOW HAVE STARLINK INTERNET superfast and never fails Thank you for your 'suggestions'. We do supply towels but may have to cease that luxury in the furure as most bring their own anyway. The extractor fan is working but you have to switch it on if someone has turned it off. The oven is how it was supplied by the manufacturer, most holidaymakers don't want to be cooking a five course meal. therefore, one shelf is sufficient. Wifi is a nightmare in most rural locations and ours does very, very well compared to others. It is not shared by the owner, only with the cottage next door. However, it does not cater for Netflix or Film Viewing, just basic emails and social media etc. As for the notes, We have tried having the information in a seperate folder, but guests tend to take notes out and lose them, then they are having to enquire on the how's and why's. Much better to have a note stuck on it. Property Owner

"Whilst the cottage was spotlessly clean it needs updating."
The wet room/shower room needs some work as the water doesn't run away properly and the room becomes flooded. The furniture is all a bit tired and uncomfortable. It would benefit from a makeover. Lovely position for walking and sightseeing.
We are very sorry you found the furniture tired and uncomfortable. Your comment about the wet room has been noted. It is a 'wet room', water tends to run away slowly but we shall investigate further. Property Owner

"Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location."
No Road traffic noise. Loved the walled garden and every evening sat watching visiting birds. Great location to visit local towns and not too far to the sea. Had a really relaxing week.
THank you for your kind words. At the moment the visiting birds are looking for homes in which to build their nests. Property Owner

"The cottage was cosy and comfortable and met all our needs."
The owner made us feel welcome on arrival. The location of the cottage was ideal for us to visit the nearby grey seal colony at Donna Nook, and explore the wider Lincolnshire coast.
Thank you for your comments. The coast is very busy at the moment and it won't be long until it's seal time again. Property Owner
