"An excellent property, modern, very well presented and provided everything needed for a stay."
Up to date technology is available plus a well equipped patio garden. An information booklet giving details of suggested places to visit/eat plus local footpaths was provided. The property is part of a farm site where other buildings have been renovated some into offices. The property is side on to the road and we would have awarded it 5 stars but there was a level of traffic noise at certain times which affected our sleep.

"This property is quite exceptional, the outside patio area a haven of peace, sunchairs and beds provided ."
The cottage fitted out expensively ,all top spec and comfortable beds .We have stayed in many cottages over many years none better than this. Combine this in lovely countryside and many attractions nearby
-
"Fabulous place to stay, everything very high spec, spotlessly clean , super comfy beds, despite the weather we did manage to sit out on the fabulous patio one afternoon, highly recommended!"

"Superb property"

"The Forge was the most comfortable and luxurious cottage we have stayed in - fitting for our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations."
Everything we needed was there, and the welcome goodies were gratefully enjoyed. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the countryside and coastline, and a trip into Lincoln is recommended. Save some energy for the walk up Steep Hill!
-
"The property was spacious, bright and well equipped with everything we could possibly need and more."
It was warm and comfortable and private. The location is ideal for many places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
-
"Lovely cottage."
Very well equipped. The back garden is very private and a sun trap, even with autumnal weather. The owners accommodated an earlier check-in which was much appreciated.
-
"What a lovely property."
High end techno. Any issues with using anything, they were just a phone call away.Everything luxurious and very comfortable. Plenty of off road parking. Only minus, was traffic noise from lane, mainly in the morning, and late afternoon.
-
"Absolutely stunning cottage."
Everything you could want or need is right there. Lovely comfortable beds. Dyson hairdryer. Hotel chocolate hot chocolate machine with hot chocolate sachets left as a gift along with other wonderful goodies. So well equipped too you need not take anything with you. We will definitely book again to stay at this wonderful place. Thank you to the owners.

"This cottage was amazing."
Very quiet, well equipped with everything you need, (if a little space age for me). Cleethorpes is a short and fairly easy drive away and the local Chinese takeaway deliver to the door. Couldn’t fault it.

"We had a fantastic stay at the Forge."
I wouldn't call it home from home because it was more luxurious than our house! The Dyson Fan was particularly appreciated in the hot weather , as was the lovely outside space and bbq.
-
"A Very nicely presented new property, well furnished, very comfortable & a pleasure to be in."
The view from the large patio windows is particularly nice and rural. We highly recommend the property which is in a peaceful area with easy access to excellent roads across Lincolnshire. It was a pleasure meeting the owners.

"We had a lovely time at this fantastic holiday property which provided a great base for exploring Lincolnshire."
The accommodation is beautifully decorated, exceptionally comfortable and the owners have thought of every detail so you have a luxurious stay with lovely soft fluffy towels, luxury bath products and excellent appliances including a large Smart TV and Dyson hair dryer. There was also a fab welcome pack including biscuits, hot chocolate and Prosecco. We enjoyed days out to the coast which is within easy reach (only 20 minutes to Cleethorpes) and the Lincolnshire wolds with it’s rolling countryside, pretty villages and Georgian market towns. We also ventured to Beverley in Yorkshire and the Humber Bridge, both well worth a visit. After our days out it was a real treat to return to the comforts of the lovely accommodation. Many thanks to the owners for a great stay.

"We had an absolutely lovely week at The Forge in August."
The cottage is very high spec'd with lots of lovely little touches - coffee machine, bluetooth speaker, posh hairdryer. The lounge is a really nice space to relax with lovely squishy sofas, looking out onto a really pretty courtyard garden with garden furniture (which we would have used if only the weather had been kinder!) and fields beyond. The beds are very comfortable and there are excellent showers and an enormous bathtub. The cottage is set on the edge of a very quiet village and there is plenty of parking. All in all, we would highly recommend it.

"This is Definitely a 5 star property which was a relief as I feel Sykes ..."
This is Definitely a 5 star property which was a relief as I feel Sykes sometimes are not very accurate on their star ratings , meaning they overate some properties but in this case was spot on, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible
-
"A fantastic property that does credit to the owners."
Everything is high end and it is so well equipped. Loved our stay here
-
"Fantastic accommodation and facilities - remarkable."
The outside area was wonderful with the daily visits from the cows, calves and Ted the bull especially exciting. Greatly recommended.

"The Forge is a great place to stay."
It is a converted barn and has been finished to an exceptional standard. The furnishing and fixtures and fittings are top quality. It is very comfortable and clean. The rear garden/patio is large and equally well equipped. Unfortunately the two pubs in Laceby have closed down, so a car or bike is advisable. The owners live on the site and were very helpful and friendly. Recommended.
