  • "Nice quiet location, good base to travel around."

Not really enough room to move around in main bedroom and bed far too soft, mainly due to some limited mobility on our part.Had to condem all the pans as they were stained/rusted, the light pull in the bathroom was located over 6 feet above the floor and I had to tie something to it as my wife is only 5 feet tall and struggles to get her arms above shoulder height. Other than that a quiet relaxed holiday.

  • "Overall a good holiday in a nice quiet spot where our daughter could quite freely play with children from the nearby chalets."

Couple of small issues the chalet had a suspicious smell when we first went in not sure whether this was a cleaning chemical or from the previous occupant was resolved by opening all windows and then went out for few hours bu lt would be nice if the chalet would be ventilated prior to arrival. The cooking pots and pans especially frying pan could do with replacing them they are in bad condition which made cooking a challenge. But for the price and location we would happily stay again if coming back to the area.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, perfect place and location and would definitely stay here again."

The chalet was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The whole park was well lit so in the early hours when our dog needed to go out it felt safe. Shop for bits and bobs, cafe and chip shop within the park and co-op short drive away. It’s not ideal for 4 adults, you can’t relax in the evenings as the sofa not big enough so had to use dining chairs. Only couple of criticisms but easy fixes, the oven could do with a good clean, only used it once as bits kept coming off the grill bars and fell on the food. The double bed mattress is really not comfortable so we slept on the sofa bed and lastly the blinds in the living area do not give any privacy in the evening, even though they are closed properly when the lights on you can still see in from outside. BUT, definitely would not stop us from staying here again. Thank you.

  • "I don’t know how you dare send me an email telling me how to leave the property."

I phoned you up as soon as I got there. The place was filthy and if I’d not been so tired I would have packed my car and gone home. I couldn’t contemplate getting any food ready as the kitchen was so dirty and there were no cleaning materials to clean it myself. The shower was unusable because the pipe work was all coming away at the top and the shower head wouldn’t turn round without using force which I was not going to do and then beaccused of breaking it. SO NO SHOWER. The light in the bathroom was so high I had to stand on my tiptoes to be able to reach it. When I pulled the table out to use it, the floor was filthy, NO SURPRISE THERE. I had a few conversations with different members of staff on the day. The men I spoke to were respectful and appreciated the fact that I’d left a lovely home to live in that for a week. I am 75 years of old and in bad health so it was very upsetting to think I’d saved my pension up for a holiday in that. I will try and send you photos if I can figure out how to do it.

Thank you very much for taking to time to review your experience following your stay, please accept our sincere apologies this visit did not meet our usual standards, we have taken swift action and replaced our cleaning contractors on the back of your comments so thank you once again Property Owner
