  • "Cosy little chalet with everything you need."

Beds not top end but fine but nicer pillows would be good. Barely any clothes storage but not much room for it tbh! Water very slow from hot tap but shower was fine. Sofas also fine, don't know why someone was moaning? Struggled to find window keys but found them eventually- maybe a little welcome letter with some info on would help. Decking great with outside seating & we had the weather for it luckily. Had a lovely stay & wouldn't hesitate to book again - location is fab. To the reviewer who said Chapel was a dump, how rude! It's a lovely little place - if it's not your sort of place you should have done your research & gone somewhere a little "snobbier"

Thank you for your feedback and happy you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

Great little chalet to stay at but definitely go again only downfall was the water pressure for the shower and the streaky double bed

  • "In Dec'23 'Alan' commented: "hot water system needs looking at as struggled to get hot water through but generally overall was ok."

" The owner replied: "Thank you for the feedback this will help us move forward on whats needed as we built our holiday home." - June '24 hot water STILL Needs looking at. Furniture uncomfortable and too low. Better off sitting on the floor. Windows dirty. Decking slippery when wet - very slippery. I almost slipped once but I'd learned my lesson from one of my dogs who did slip. He pulled out a paw nail and cracked another and I took extra special care. I guess the owner will have this looked at too, just like the hot water. I'll never know, I won't be back. I'll pitch a tent in the back garden first. Because of the dog's injury we left half-way through the holiday. Couldn't get him into the car. Couldn't get him out of the car, he was in too much pain. As to the area - a dump. Great if you like to spend your time boozing or playing bingo. But to take the dogs out... Hell will probably freeze over before the beach gets a Blue Flag. I could go on but I think prospective guests will get the message. BTW, could never find an owner's representative.

Thank you. Its not easy to respond to negative feedback and everyone has different opinions however we will endeavour to respond to the sensible issues brought up the best we can. Property Owner

  • "Lack of dining table slight issue when raining, but understand this is due to space."

Found the coffee table was too large for the room. Other than that perfect, nicely decorated, great location and site will definitely recommend and looking to book again in the future myself.

  • "Very nice holiday home in Cherry Park, ideal for 2 people."

We had a great time in this tiny home in Lincolnshire and it was ideal for exploring Skegness and Chapel St. Leonards. The beds and sofa were comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well stocked, and the property was quiet even though there were a lot of holiday-makers making a lot of noise outside. We did not have towels even though the listing mentioned it, but thankfully we always carry spare towels so it was okay. One suggestion would be to provide clearer instructions to the property. We followed the instructions past the fish & chips shop and then kept going in the hope of finding a junction. It should just say 2nd entrance to Cherry Park instead of keep going beyond the chip shop. Small thoughtful touches like kitchen roll, extra toilet rolls and handwash meant that we did not need to search for essentials, so that was appreciated. The home is small but comfortable and the area is convenient to drive to a number of good beaches and shops.

Thank you for your feedback and pleased you had a good time, this is very helpful. Property Owner

  • "Nice, clean property in a good position for shops, pubs and beach."

Ideal for two people but would not recommend for four as there is limited space for clothes. Nice comfy bed and a good shower but for some reason the hot water at the tap is very low pressure but didn`t exactly ruin our holiday.

Thank you for your feedback very refreshing and pleased you had a nice break. Property Owner

  • "Property was clean and comfortable."

Beds were comfortable,we slept well.Everything supplied for cooking . Fish and chip shop on site, shop on site. Arcades just a walk away.Just a couple of niggles, says WiFi at the property but there isn't. I checked with the owner and this is something they asked to be taken off the Sykes site but it's still on there. The owner was honest to tell me,it wasn't a big issue we had mobile data,it's just good to keep the kids entertained at night. The water (hot)pressure in kitchen was a dribble, again you can fill up the sink for washing up but takes some time! Curtains for the bedrooms are needed now summer is approaching it got very light early in the morning just with the blinds. Apart from that we had a lovely break, the site was quiet enough with it being Easter school holidays. We loved it,the kids loved it and the dog is worn out! ☺️

Thank you, we are always looking for improvement.Internet will be available in the next few weeks, very pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
