"Thank you for a great 4 night stay with the family."
Lots of room, well maintained with all you need in the kitchen. Great bedrooms all of a good size, warm and cozy, private and although we didn't use it, the rear garden is lovely. I would recommend and would look to stay again. If I was to give any negatives, there is no pub in the village, so you will need to drive out, but beyond the village, there are loads of great places in Retford, which is only 6 miles away.

"I booked Tivoli cottage for myself and my family over my wedding weekend located in a venue nearby."
The cottage was absolutely perfect, it was everything we needed for our stay. All amenities were in driving distance, my dog loved the large garden and the cottage overall is very spacious. Great stay!!

"There is parking behind the house for a car which is behind a large wooden gate."
This is extremely stiff and I caught my hand between the metal pull and the gate post crushing it badly. This should be looked at - 5 adults staying and we all found this very difficult. We are work colleagues so having no locks on the bathroom doors a bit of a draw back, especially since the upstairs door doesn't shut without slamming it, and disturbing the person in the adjacent room. The fridge door also doesn't shut (we have a bit of an issue with all the doors!) without lifting up first. Otherwise, the house is great, the host was lovely and very thoughtful, and there were a lot of goodies left for us, which was very kind and much appreciated.
Thanks for the points made, especially about staying with work colleagues. (This was previously a family home). All issues resolved. Locks now on bathroom doors. Problematic doors / gate now adjusted for ease of opening, closing. Glad you loved the house and appreciated the hosts attention. Property Owner

"My friends, little ones and furry friend had a lovely weekend at this cottage."
It has everything you need. It is cosy and has a lot to offer within short drives. The village itself is mainly residential but it is not a problem. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Emily and co.
