"The perfect getaway break, peaceful and tranquil in the most wonderful setting, everything from the relaxing evenings in the hot tub, the walks in and around the area and watching the hares play in the fields makes this the perfect escape."
-
"Fabulous lodge."

"This was our second stay at the Rutland Lodges."
We were once again delighted with the standard of cleanliness, and the comfortable surroundings of the lodge interiors. I would certainly recommend staying at the Lodges to everyone. Just one thing we didnt like was the lack of ventilation in the twin room. Although there are doors into the garden, we wouldnt leave them open at night in case of creepy crawlies getting in! Apart from that, we enjoyed our time there immensely, with the hot tub, swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff - who could ask for more? :-)

"Stayed at the lodges several times and always perfect we will be back later in the year"

"This log cabin is the best we have stayed in anywhere in England."
Well done a lot of thought has gone in to the equipment supplied. We will definitely come again.

"The site is really well maintained and the lodges are positioned to give you privacy which is perfect."
The lodge had a lot of well thought out extras, and the interiors furnishings were lovely, clean and very good quality. The hot tub was cleaned every day and the staff were lovely. The site and lodge is definitely a one I would return to.

"Property was very good, modern and private."
Reception was less welcoming and lacked the holiday spirit

"A great location to explore a beautiful part of the world."
The staff were helpful and welcoming. I booked this due to it's 5 ticks rating. The lodge is beautiful, but cleanliness and maintenance needs looking at. The lodge needs a proper clean (bearing in mind it's still early in the season); too much dust, hair, cobwebs etc., There were several maintenance issues, which could be easily remedied. Arriving to heated towel rails being left on when the temperature outside is 27 degrees, made it difficult to cool down an already very warm lodge. These are lodges are located on an established caravan and camping site. To me, it felt like glamping, rather than luxury and does not compare to other 5 ticks properties previously stayed at. This lodge is now a couple of years old now and the brand new feeling has very much worn off. Time for some TLC!

"Pine Lodge was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean throughout and all facilities provided were to the highest standard."
Very quiet, warm and cosy with underfloor heating. The hot tub was situated in an enclosed, private garden area and maintained daily. Sun loungers, barbecue and outside dining facilities too. Quite exceptional will definitely return. Only improvement, some larger cups or mugs.
Thank you for your review and feedback, Shelagh we are glad you thought the lodge and outdoor areas were so fantastic. Please do return, we would love to welcome you back. Property Owner

"Excellent, Excellent, Excellent."
Pine lodge was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Both bathrooms had fantastic showers with instant & constant hot water. Went for relaxation & privacy & that is exactly what we got. All staff were very polite & helpful. Went in hot tub every day & it was beautiful. The hot tub gentleman (who called daily) always knocked on gate & spoke before entering the garden, showing respect for guests.

"It was excellent."
The only gripe was the previous tenant had unplugged the dvd which I didn't discover until the last day, however Netflix was excellent. We didn't get round to using the hot tub but it was there. I only wish every property would be that good but we hope to be back again to discover more in this beautiful area

"Overall a very good lodge, excellent spec."
In bathrooms and kitchen. Excellent beds made for a good night sleep. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars was a few little things. Bedside light bulb blown which I get might just be unlucky but the same room had no batteries in the remote for the tv either so just needed a little more attention to detail. One small annoyance to mention, we had gone for a relaxing week away and the three days of jet washing in the lodges around us was a little noisy as was the entrance road with the lorries flying up and down. Overall very good and would certainly stay again
