"The house is in beautiful surroundings and ideal for a family holiday near to the coast and the best of Lincolnshire's countryside."
Very comfortable and well furnished with easy access to the lovely gardens. The three spacious reception rooms allowed us all to spread out and everything worked very well for us in the property. And so peacefully quiet .

"This was our second holiday at old hall farm."
The garden area is absolutely stunning and so very well maintained with so much space for dogs/children to play and so very secluded. The garden definitely sells the place Inside is very spacious with everything one could need but I do feel its decor is rather dated now and that it could do with a good freshen up.

"We loved our stay and definitely return!"
The gardens are absolutely amazing and the kids loved to explore. The house is not mordern but is well equipped and feels like it has had lots of love over the years - the kids enjoyed discovering new rooms and staircases! The shower was powerful and warm and we enjoyed using the Aga!

"We loved this house, it was so spacious and comfortable."
the garden was lovely we sat outside a great deal you could follow the sun round with the places to sit. The dog loved the space the garden offered. It was so peaceful surrounded by fields with sheep and cattle for company. We were sorry to leave. I would highly recommend it.

"This is a very attractive property and garden, and we found maintenance of the gardens is a high priority, but not the inside of a very old house."
Description is misleading. Dishwasher does not exist. we would not have booked if descriptions had been truthful. Oven very old and very slow. Fridge and microwave small side for a large group. One of only two electric showers working properly. Old stained carpets in toilets are a no no for our family. Disappointing levels of cleaning with dead flies in cupboards and dishes.
Hi We are sorry you are disappointed. There has never been a dishwasher in the house, apologies I have asked Sykes to remove it from the details, I'm not sure why it was ever on there. It is a 400 year old farmhouse that has been a family home and the decor as per the photos reflect that style. The fridge & microwave are normal sized appliances. The aga is a double appliance. One side (normal sized electric cooker with 4 hobs) the other is oil heated and 2 hobs and an oven. The oil aga requires some expertise to use (ie an hour to warm up) so we leave it on low for warmth rather than cooking. The electrician is coming to mend the shower. Our Caretaker is only in the next village and would have sorted immediately had you contacted her. The carpets have been cleaned. Two flies had got in and died in between the clean and your arrival, apologies as sometimes nature find a way. There was a gap of a week between guests and we had cleaned on the departure of the last guests. We will change our cleaning regime so we clean the day before new guests are due. Property Owner

"Amazing property which was ideal for a catch up with friends."
Garden was a joy to spend time in, with plenty for the kids to explore. On the whole, the weather was cold for April, and we all found it a bit chilly so spent a lot of time snuggling in the warm kitchen. Given the AGA was advertised in the listing I was a little disappointed not to be able to cook on it as it had been set down to low, but that was not really a big thing. The other hob was perfectly functional. We were really appreciative the owners left bread, milk, and eggs in the fridge, and the lawns were freshly clipped, which made us feel welcome. The cupboard which contained the immersion heater (we assume) for the upstairs shower was locked so we couldn’t turn the hot water on for that one, but the shower downstairs was warm and powerful. Overall it was a great stay, but bring a jumper and snuggly socks if it’s chilly out!

"A wonderful property, set in at least 3."
75 acre of gardens. Wonderfully maintained shrubs, grass and borders. The garden is perfectly secure for dogs. The aga was used every day, as I didn't need to venture - or want to - from the gardens. Lovely welcome gifts. If you stay here, you will be enjoying a warm home, with plenty of space. I enjoyed it so much so, I've booked for two months next year. Thoroughly recommend.

"What a great family home."
Huge house with lots of rooms. If you have dogs the garden is perfect. Our 4 loved it. Booked up again before we even left.

"On the listing it says there is a dishwasher but there wasn't."
We had to fix one of the toilets as the seat was broken. The mirror in one of the bathrooms was covered in splashes of toothpaste. The electrics were constantly tripping out, in the end we had to turn off the plug sockets so that the lights wouldn't trip, so we couldn't use the lamps in the bedrooms or the tv, luckily we had an ipad with us to watch
