  • "We love Poppy Cottage and its location."

A fabulous dog friendly cottage/gardens/paddock. Poppy Cottage was clean and comfortable and is without doubt now our favourite Lincolnshire cottage to take our dog with us.

  • "What a gem of a place in the Lincolnshire countryside."

The owners were lovely, on hand if we needed anything but unobtrusive we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I don't think you will find a more dog friendly place anywhere, comfort for humans and 4 legged friends. You do need a car for visiting places due to the rural location. We were very lucky with the weather on our weeks stay we were able to go out and about everyday. The dogs loved the enclosed paddock for frisbie and ball play. Huge thankyou to owners kate and Rob and we would recommend this place to anyone. The dark skies at night are amazing for stargazing.

Excellent base for Lincolnshire’s many attractions. Quite literally the best cottage for dogs too!

  • "Poppy Cottage, was wonderful place to stay, very quiet with everything you needed."

We have stayed in holiday cottages for many years and we can honestly say our dogs were made to feel the most welcome here than anywhere before. The secure garden was great and the paddock the icing on the cake. We had a wonderful relaxing break.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Poppy Cottage and our dogs enjoyed the garden."

    Colin CharltonJul 2021

  • "The cottage is described as dog friendly but that is an understatement."

The property is run for the comfort and enjoyment of both dogs and their owners. Rob and Kate are lovely hosts and obviously enjoy having people stay as well as their dogs. Whenever we came back to Poppy cottage and got our dog out of the car his tail was wagging at the thought of exploring their garden and the paddock. The cottage is very comfortable and the garden is beautiful, in fact I suggested that it could be entered under the National Garden Scheme. This was a lovely holiday enjoyed be all of us.
