  • "Well equipped bungalow."

Dog friendly garden. Just right for a weeks break.

  • "Had a few days here, owner seemed really nice and pleasant on the phone."

Garden was excellent for our little dog. Property itself was a bit too cluttered with owners possessions, felt a bit like we had gone to stay with an elderly relative. Beds not particularly comfortable, maybe needs new mattresses. Because if all the clutter cleanliness wasn't 100%, dusty and a few cobwebs. Lounge window very dirty inside. On arrival had to wash cutlery as a few items had been left with dried food on them ( mainly dessert spoons... Looked like cereals). Despite these comments, the bungalow was well placed for exploring the area, and with just a little TLC would be a very good place to visit again.

  • "We enjoyed our stay however we felt the property was tired to be polite all the floors are covered in mats and are an accident waiting to happen, the kitchen smells of heating oil the boiler must have a small leak, we found the place very cluttered with unnecessary furniture such as a fair size table with 6 chairs in a very tiny kitchen, however the owners are very nice people and very easy to communicate with."

  • "Really nice property and amazingly kind owners especially after my dogs tore the kitchen wall paper, hopefully anyone else that stays there realises the property was in top condition until my horrors decided to strip the lower part in the kitchen."

Garden was great for the dogs and location was ideal and not far from Skegness or Ingoldmells which suits us well. Kitchen was well fitted but not really used as we eat out everyday, Hopefully we can book again and now that I've purchased a playpen the doggie night time antics are a thing of the past. Please do WhattsApp me when you get the kitchen repaired and I will pay for the repairs. Many Many Thanks for the Lovely Property and for being so Understanding, I do hope your coming guests will appreciate that repairs will only be done when the property has some empty time and not mark you critically for something out of your control. Very warm and comfortable and the garden was great for our dog, very secure. Outside the cottage looks a little tired, but inside was very clean and attractive. The thermostat on the oven needs checking as it didn't seem to work very well, but the oven itself was fine. Wifi would be nice!

  • "We stayed one week at Sunnyside Cottage."

Nice and clean. Beds made up for us. The Garden was safe for the Dog. Spoke to Vicky on the phone due to Covid 19. Vicky helped with all the questions we had about staying. Very friendly to talk to. Had a great time on Holiday. If you take Dogs with you. Visit Moggs Eye Beach. The road does have pot holes when you arrive at Sunny side Cottage. But this does upset the Holiday or the Cottage. If you like this area of England. Just book Sunnyside Cottage and enjoy the area and the seaside and the cottage.

  • ""Basic" best describes this Property."

The "welcome pack" consisted of a ring binder with a lot of dos and don'ts. There was no information about pubs, shops, restaurants, taxis, doctors or any local info or recommendations. The kitchen and bathroom were very dated, one of the kitchen cupboard doors was hanging on by one hinge. the utensils and crockery were very sparse. One of the beds in the second bedroom was broken with missing slats replaced by a section of board. I have had 8 holidays with Sykes and this is by far the worst accomodation. I really think you should review this property.

I dont think we will be comming back again. One of the beds was broken, the seating is very uncomfortabe , the cooker is not very good and the heating system is not good enough for the size of the place. Im afraid for what you pay it is not worth it. We will be looking for somewhere else next time. Regards Tony Knight
