"Perfect location for birding at Spurn, very convenient to be able to leave the car and walk from the doorstep or even just bird from the patio garden."
The cottage is brand new, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and have booked our next break already!

"Top Class Property."
This cottage was spotless, the king bed was very comfy, nice powerful shower and huge bath, lovely bedding & towels. Kitchen was great with full size fridge freezer, full size dishwasher, washer/dryer and a clothes airer but oddly no ironing board or iron! Could do with a couple of serving spoons but it was ALL absolutely fantastic. Lots of parking space inside your gated area. Lovely seating area with a table on the lower level with a lovely big sun parasol that actually shades both levels if needed We were blessed with wall to wall sunshine all week so we ate out sat on the top patio every day (would be great to have a small bistro set on here) as the views from here are beautiful as you are elevated so you get amazing views over the fields, the step from the patio doors onto the top patio is very deep though so care is needed. We saw deer multiple times every day from here , we saw foxes playing in the field and we also saw barn owls, the deer even came into the owners garden next door which was lovely to see. We had a problem on our 4th day and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of the contact number left in the property which is actually for a cleaning company Kleansail, we tried by phone & text message as when ringing them multiple times it just kept saying this person is not available and try again later or send a text which we did but they never replied to us at all and they are the only contact number for anything during your stay so we ended up ringing Sykes and they finally got the problem sorted out for us. It would be much better to have direct contact with the owners as this is the first time in many years of bookings with Sykes that we have not had a direct contact number with the actual owners of a property. This cottage is just amazing and we would love return to stay here again in the future. It is so peaceful and tranquil. You have great walks in both directions from the door and a lovely pub 5 min walk away. Absolutely stunning property. Thank you x
Dear Stuart, Thank you very much for your comprehensive review. We are pleased to see you enjoyed your stay. This is our first year of presenting a property to the holiday letting market and we have tried hard to ensure it will fully meet, and ideally exceed, guests’ expectations. We anticipated we may have missed some things that guests would like and we are happy to implement all your suggestions - the bistro set is on order! The other items we will add shortly. As to KleanSail, it may help if we explain the arrangements we have with them. They are a highly recommended Managed Services company for properties in this locality who also undertake our cleaning and laundry - indeed the spotlessness of the property is entirely as a result of their endeavours. We find their responsiveness to things to be immediate. As to the matter you encountered last Monday and being unable to get in touch with them, unfortunately one of the two main people there had had to be taken into hospital which temporarily disrupted their service, they did receive your message and were trying to arrange for the matter to be looked at. In the meantime, because of the particular nature of the query, we were able to arrange for the installer to go and remedy the matter straightaway. We hope it did not disrupt your stay too much and it shouldn’t recur. We very much hope you will stay again not least so you can see we have implemented all your suggestions! With warm regards, Paul & Annemarie Property Owner

"The cottage is exactly as described and was clean and comfortable and has been finished to a really high standard."
It contained everything we needed for our stay including useful information on the surrounding area. Sitting in the garden we watched deer, pheasants and a barn owl going about their business. It was a lovely, relaxing holiday and we would definitely stay again.
