About the location
BOSTON
Horncastle 19 miles; Skegness 22 miles; Lincoln 36 miles.
The traditional medieval market town of Boston is steeped in history. Boston offers excellent food, drink, shopping, historic places and events. Known as the gateway to Lincolnshire’s wonderful countryside and waterways it is a haven for wildlife and offers excellent walking and cycling. The town plays host to a large market twice a week which has been established for more than 450 years. Outside of the market you can enjoy a network of medieval lanes with a good selection of independent and national shops surrounding an impressive 14th century church, one of the East of England’s most imposing landmarks. If it’s a clear day it is worth climbing to the top of the church to enjoy spectacular views out to the wash and Lincoln cathedral. If you are interested in history make sure you visit the Boston Guildhall Museum which dates back to the 1390s. There is plenty to do for all ages in beautiful and historic Boston and it offers excellent access to both Lincoln and Norfolk.
