There is everything you could possibly need in the cottage. The owners have thought about everything. The accommodation is excellent it is so well thought out a gem in a lovely area. There are 3 beautiful bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom so easily accommodate a family.Long Sutton is a small village nearby. There are also a few shops, takeaways including a first class Chip Shop within approximately 15 minutes walking distance. There is also private off road parking in front of the cottage .We received a lovely welcome from the owner Jenny who lives next door. The welcome pack was exceptional the best we have ever had!!! • "Our stay at Duck Pond Cottage this month (September) was great."

Upon arrival we were greeted with some really nice goodies and also some essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar and bread, which was really appreciated. The cottage itself is lovely. The cottage part of the building maintains its cottage style and merges well with the kitchen and dinning area and was perfect for a group of 5 (4 adults and 1 toddler). However, while it really wasn't an issue i would recommend a slightly larger TV in the living room as it is a little small and a wifi booster would help too. The village is close by and has a great chinese but now really only has one good place to eat and drink (Palmers Ale House) if you want to go anywhere in walking distance, however we didn't try the sports club or social club but Kings Lynn is close by, which is beautiful and has everything you need. Would recommend for a nice quite break and a few day trips to the seaside or nearby towns.

Well what can I say about the cottage just absolutely fantastic! It is beautiful inside and out, this cottage is spacious, home from home and furnished to a very high standard it was exceptionally clean and everything you could possibly need for a luxury getaway. Each room within the cottage was stunning, with such beautiful touches to them, well presented to an exceptional standard through out. A lovely welcome pack was also awaiting for us which was a very thoughtful touch by our hosts and to be honest the best yet. Jenny popped round to say hello and to see if everything was ok the first night, even took time to recommend bars, restaurants in the local area, they really go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience. The only downside to this cottage was having to leave it, had a lump in my throat when we left. I honestly said good bye to it. We will definitely be back to this fabulous place. The first thing you notice is how clean the cottage is . A lovely welcome pack was there on our arrival and a hello from the owner later in the evening . The owner has obviously thought about what is needed in a cottage and it is all there . All 3 bedrooms were comfortable and roomy . The dining area is main feature though , being able to open the Bi-Fold doors on a hot day was wonderful . The property is very dog friendly . As long as front door is locked and side gate is bolted our dog was secure and loved mooching around the patio area . We cannot praise this cottage enough !

We appreciated all the local produce and other goodies which were left for us, it was great that everything was suitable for vegetarians. We were surprised how busy the road was outside of the cottage which did disturb us a bit. The owners live next door and were very helpful, especially when we had an issue with the washbasin in the bathroom.

Thank you for your review from which we try to improve our standards for all future guests, who are either returning guests or no. Whilst we endeavour to implement all comments raised there are certain things which are outside our control, such as the passing of vehicles past the property at certain times. We are situated in a small rural market town, although not on the main road, therefore the sound of tractors and school buses on occasion is to be expected. Nevertheless, we are sorry to hear that this impacted the enjoyment of your holiday. We are so glad to have been of assistance to you during your stay, and always try our very best to rectify any issues that arise as quickly as possible. The welcome pack is picked out with care and we are so very pleased that you enjoyed that too. We really hope that you enjoyed your stay overall and would love to accommodate you again in the future. • "Duck Pond Cottage is by far the best holiday cottage we have stayed in."

No expense has been spared in making this a lovely comfortable, extremely well equipped and decorated home. The owners Jenny and Brian are wonderful hosts and were attentive in making sure our stay was very comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The cottage is nothing short of excellent. The local area has all the shops you will require within walking distance and a very nice pub just around the corner. The North Norfolk coast is a short drive away. Overall a very relaxing stay and we will definately be returning. I would not hesitate to recommend Duck Pond Cottage.

It is really welcoming, kitted out to a really high standard and the attenntion to detail is excellent. The village it is in is lovely has all the essentials and there's a lovely local pub, The Ship, no more then 2 mins walk away that serves great food. It's also a great location for exploring the coast. Jenny was great at getting in contact to m,ake sure we had everthing we needed and there was even some lovely plum bread and jam in the kitchen ready for our arrival. All in all, thoroughly recommended.

  • "On arrival we met Jenny and Brian as we were early."

They invited us in and to have coffee. They were extremely helpful, thoughtful and couldn’t do enough for us. The house is amazing, every possible thing you could possibly need plus some lovely extras, milk, butter, wine, bread, jam etc etc. Duck Pond cottage is spotlessly clean and so tastefully decorated. The house is in the perfect location for many days out, as everything seemed to be less than an hour away. I would not hesitate to go back or recommend to others.
