We had a lovely stay is this pretty well equipped cottage, there was plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 3 dogs, it was clean and comfy and the paddock at the rear was ideal for letting the dogs exercise
-
"The property was lovely."
It was spacious and well set out with everything inside that we would need. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It was quiet but not too far to get to different places. Good outdoor space for dogs too. A lovely very clean and comfortable cottage.
-
"Our stay at Peardrop cottage was wonderful, John was really friendly and helpful, the cottage had everything you could possibly need and more."
We had a lovely week and can’t wait to return.
-
"Friendly and helpful owners."
Couple of minor niggles but this probably down to people not reporting them. Very quiet area so expect to use cars
-
"Everything was great."
The team answered on my questions and was very helpful.
-

Fantastic value for money. Thank you

"The cottage was just as described."
The photos did not do it justice as there had been some updates, such as a new sofa & repainted kitchen. We were really comfortable on the only day we couldn't venture out due to awful weather. There were loads of DVD's & a couple of jigsaws in the cottage. The location was perfect too, situated centrally to all the beaches & other places of interest. The only downside we found unfortunately were the occupants of the other cottage across the courtyard, The Sweet Shop. They had 2 lovely small dogs, but did not appear to take them out, or make use of the great paddock provided. Instead they just let them out into the communal courtyard to go to the toilet. They only cleared up after their dogs once a day! Luckily it was January & not warm enough to sit outside & we didn't have children with us that would have wanted to play outside.

"Just lovely, excited yo return in October and explore the area more."
-
"Great little cottage for dogs and humans!"
Loved the enclosed garden Jon and Collette were welcoming and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Peardrop cottage is immaculate, very warm and contains everything you need inc dishwasher and washing machine. We will definitely be going back!
-
"The only very minor complaint was the lack of a tea cosy otherwise excellent all round."
-
"Great welcome great area."
brilliant quite cottage.we will be back again.
-
"Lovey homely feel straight away."
All three bedrooms were a good size. We had trouble getting the shower working but then realised we need to pull the cord that looks like a light switch to get power. I believe the description said we could see fields from the living room but we couldn’t as it faced a court yard. The cottages are surrounded by fields in the countryside. The cottage is close to lots of tourist destinations such as Mablethorpe, Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Lincoln. There were leaflets in the cottage which were useful as some had street maps of places you may wish to visit. In the cottages was a folder with useful household information. Overall a good stay.

Although one shower wasn't working at 1st it was done while we were there we had a great stay very comfortable warm and cozy nice closed in garden for the dogs The owners thought of everything you'd need to live as you would at your own home Half the battle of a holiday experience is getting the accommodation right And it was spot on well done

"Comfortable cottage"
-
"A lovely cottage."
Spotlessly clean and well maintained. The shared courtyard is a little sun trap. If you need shade take a parasol with you. The owners live on site and are there to help with any problems which we had none! Parking is at the back of the property and safe. Handy for Louth, Hubbard Hills is lovely for dog walking, and Mablthorpe. There is a super vast beach at Theddlethorpe but no facilities so take a drink with you. I would definitely recommend these cottages for a lovely relaxing break.
-
"This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable property, well situated for the nearby coastal resorts, have stayed here before and will be returning again quite soon."
Lincolnshire people are always welcoming and make you feel like a local resident which is great, thank you all.
-
"When we arrived we had a very warm welcome from John and Collette."
Nothing was too much trouble. The place is located in a lovely area. There were drinks facilities left out for us. We have brought back some of their homemade honey home with us which is very reasonably priced and looks very tasty. We had a great stay and are making plans to come back again soon.
-
"Lovely stay."
The only issue i had was the small grass section by the road could do with being fenced off properly, with stock fencing. However the cottage was clean, comfortable and warm,
-
"Super cottage, very comfortable and cosy."
Very well equipped, nothing we needed that wasn’t already there. Secure courtyard for the dogs was an absolute bonus.
-
"Great weekend break, owners very welcoming, nothing was to much trouble."
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Peardrop Cottage."
It was perfect for our needs and we felt very comfortable there with our dogs. The owners, John and Collette, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and we will always recommend the cottage to anyone that asks. We have very happy memories of our stay!
-
"The cottage was beautiful."
It has everything you need for a stay and the owners were very helpful. On arrival they had tea and coffee shortbread milk such a nice touch. Looking forward to coming back
-
"A lovely stay in clean and comfortable accommodation."
A warm welcome from John and Collette.
-
"Very comfortable one floor cottage."
Lots of helpful info provided. Having the 2 bathrooms was a big advantage with family coming. Helpful with a dog and a small child to close the gates and feel that they were safe. Lots of dvds which helped through the rainy weather. Could have done with a few more cushions for support on the 2 sofas.
-
"Lovely bungalow with everything we needed."
Spotlessly clean and the secure courtyard made it ideal for our dogs. The owner was friendly and available if we had needed him.10 minute drive to nearest dog friendly beach. We had a lovely few days and are planning to return.
-

-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at peardrop and would definitely recommend it."
Beautiful area.
-
"We had four adults, two children and two dogs sharing the cottage and felt very comfortable."
There was ample cutlery/crockery etc and we could all sit around the table at mealtimes. The BBQ was great for our last night together with seating in the courtyard. It was really helpful to have the secure gravel courtyard for the dogs to play safely and the camping field (mostly enclosed but open to the car park) for running/ball play. Amazing big sandy beaches nearby for the dogs to run and play and a quiet location. Very easy access to the lovely market town of Louth with a good country park to walk in and countryside beyond. No complaints - we would definitely use this as a base again when visiting family in the future.
-
"Lovely place very clean and comfortable great for dogs"

"Well equipped holiday property - very helpful and friendly owners."

-
"Amazing cottage and great location, perfect little setting with all the amenities you need."
Owners so welcoming and helpful :) You can close the courtyard area off so the dogs can run off lead. Perfect for those travelling with or without dogs. Will be returning.

-
"Perfect place."
Warm and comfortable We had plenty space, loads of crockery etc Owners were very kind and helpful. Ideal property for visiting other places in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.
-
"We had a fabulous break, and we will definitely be returning."
We normally go to cottages close to shops/pubs/restaurants that allow us to take our 4 dogs in with us, where as the Pear drop wasn't and we had to drive everywhere but it didn't bother us as we were not in the car for long. Our dogs loved the beach in Mablethorpe and very nearly took my husband with them in the sea. But dog owners be mindful that dogs are not able to go onto this beautiful beach between May - October. Fingers crossed we will be back soon.
-
"Very clean and very well equipped for our stay."
-
"A fabulous place to stay."
Cosy, clean and well equipped. The enclosed courtyard is wonderful for the dogs. John and Collette were on hand if needed and were very welcoming. The delicious shortbread was a lovely welcome gift. The location of the cottage is great. Only 15 minutes drive to the endless beaches. Dunes and endless sand were heaven for my three springers. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.
-
"Fantastic stay Accommodation modern, clean and comfortable."
Spacious even with 4 adults, 1 infant and 3 dogs John and Collette were very helpful and on hand if required Would certainly return in future
-
"Lovely cottage in a quiet area but close enough to all amenities."
It was our ideal base for visiting friends and family who we'd not seen for a while due to the pandemic. A special thank you to John and Collette.
-
"The single bed quilts are to small for a grown-up"
-
"The cottage was perfect with everything you would need for your stay and more."
Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, spacious and very clean. Would highly recommend, perfect to take your dogs. Met John the owner who was very friendly
-
"A well laid out holiday home with nice touches that made for a very enjoyable and relaxing break."
Our hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much bother.
-
"A really comfortable cottage ."
Helpful owners . The sheltered , shared courtyard made it possible to share a ( socially distanced! ) locally bought pizza with family and make the most of the afternoon and evening sunshine .
-
"Peardrop cottage was superb, the owners were excellent and very welcoming."
We will return
-
"The owners were very friendly and helpful and the property was lovely."
The only problem we had was the bed was a little bit too soft for us but that was not the owners fault it's just what we are use too.
-
"The cottage is in a great place for all seaside places then after a hectic day on the beach you can retreat back to the cottage for peace and quite great holiday."
-
"Host was lovely and offered up some great tips on what to go and see in the local area."
-

"The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and comfortable!"
The owner was lovely and very helpful! We really enjoyed our weeks stay! Mayblethorpe was 15 minutes down the road and there was a co-op a few minutes drive away!
-
"The quality of the cottages I have been in with you are all excellent."
Peardrop was perfect, very relaxing and comfortable, beautifully done and in a stunning location. The owner John was very welcoming to both my mum and I and my dogs. Lincolnshire is my home county and we combined seeing family with exploring and reaquainting ourselves with this wonderful county. Peardrop cottage is perfectly placed to do this. Loved it!
-
"This is an outstanding cottage comfortable, clean and well stocked."
The owners were extremely welcoming to me my two children and my three dogs. John even had a battery to hand to give me a jump start when mine was flat. We had a lovely time.
-
"The holiday cottage was just as described."
Very comfortable and well equipped. It made a refreshing change for the owners (who were very friendly) to be so welcoming to dogs. We have two greyhounds and the cottage was perfect for them. The courtyard outside, although shared, is secure and handy for the dogs. There is a paddock where you can walk the dogs onsite too. The area is quiet in Winter - perfect for us at Christmas. We walked with the dogs every day on the nearby beaches. We would definitely recommend this cottage.
-
"Wonderful break in an ideally located super clean and cosy cottage for a very reasonable price."
-
"A lovely cottage with plenty of space and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits on arrival."
If visiting in November/December then a visit to the Grey Seal colony is recommended as it is only about 4 or 5 miles away to see the newborn pups. Brilliant beaches nearby that are really good for dog walking and running. For meals we visited two eateries, Bambarinos in Manby and The Kings Head in Theddlethorpe both serve excellent food and are well worth a visit.
-
"The cottage was in a great location for us, a maximum of 45mins to get to everywhere we wanted to visit."
It was well equipped and very warm and comfortable, and the owners were very welcoming but not intrusive. We had a lovely week away and would definitely visit the East Coast again. The only downsides were that i think the previous occupants had left the kitchen in a bit of a mess, although the cottage had been cleaned and mopped and all of the rooms were tidy, the kitchen cabinets were dirty, they were covered in grease and food splashes, and all of the cups, bowls, plates and cutlery were dirty and sticky. It did not ruin our stay though as a quick rinse in the dishwasher sorted them out. The only other issue that we had is the cottage is clearly used by dog owners most of the time, and the bedrooms and sofa did have a smell of musty dog about them, particularly in the master bedroom with the en-suite. An air-freshner and a bottle of Febreeze sorted out the worst of it but the smell was still noticeable in the master bedroom. Overall the cottage was well kept and we saw that the owner was regularly making repairs and cleaning the other cottages in the complex, it is clearly very well maintained and we had a great holiday. Our only suggestions would be a deep clean of the kitchen area, a carpet shampoo once a month to keep it fresh, and a new sofa cover.
-
"This was our 3rd year holiday at this cottage."
Welcome always great hosts brilliant.GREAT PLACE TO RECHARGE.
-
"Lovely owners."
There if needed but respected our privacy. Very dog friendly. Good location with easy access to coast. Will certainly return.
-
"Owners unintrusive and friendly."
Lovely cottage. Some of the knives need replacing as the handles broken. Good internet connection and beds comfortable
-
"The cottage was very clean, nicely decorated and furnished, and comfortable."
Good place to explore the wolds and Lincolnshire coast. Louth has lots of good places to eat and drink. Grimsby/Cleethorpes and Lincoln within 40 minutes drive.
-
"Really enjoyed our stay at Peardrop Cottage."
Good home from home - good space and facilities. Owners were nice and helpful. Some lovely beaches a short drive away. Louth was nice for a wander and a coffee. The seals at Donna Nook were amazing! Would definitely visit again.
-

"Peardrop cottage is lovely and well thought out."
It had everything we needed and more! Lovely surroundings and friendly owners who were always on hand to help out but gave us our privacy. Lovely that we could take our dog too.
-
"Great place, plenty of space, nice and open plan."
WiFi would be nice to be included. the bedroom with the en suite is next to the family bathroom whist the other two bedrooms are the opposite end of the cottage. Four adults and a dog had plenty of space and enjoyed the week at Peardrop Cottage.
-
"The best equipped/layout and cleanest cottage we have stayed in to date."
The owners are friendly and helpful. The cottage is central to a lot of locations by car. This cottage meets all expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
-

"Beautiful cottage."

-
"John and Colette were lovely, cottage fantastic and we'd love to go back"
-
"Having stayed previously in these cottages but in the other of the two larger cottages we knew what to expect."
The owners are very friendly and bend over backwards to accommodate guests and yet are not intrusive in anyway during your stay. Anything you could need is in the cottage even down to simple kitchen items you might be missing at home. The cottages were clean as anyone could wish as was the linen etc. I fully intend to visit again.
