  • "Lovely weeks stay with delightful rear courtyard and safe."

Electric heating was more then enough to keep warm and the welcome gifts was very delicious.

  • "The property is okay."

The village and surrounding area is very nice. The main problem is the busy road going past just outside the house. You get cars, lorries, motorcycles and farm traffic throughout the day and some at night. Nice cottage inside, clean, modern but very small, feels a bit crammed. The pots and pans were fine. The dishes and mugs are very nice. The best things were the clothes pegs (proper decent clothes pegs) and the towels. Nice enclosed garden outside, was nice to eat outside. No vacuum cleaner. No iron. No freezer. And (gasp!) no dishwasher, although you can tell the last one from the ad. Main bedroom bed is creaky and the mattress is springy, did not like, but maybe some people like springy mattresses. Other than this was all good. The only deal breaker really was the traffic noise.

  • "This was a lovely cottage, immaculate the only thing I would is some decent pans would be good, as only a wok and a frying pan but managed."

The noise from the main road from lorries was rather annoying, but that's nobody's fault. Other than that I would book again as Patrington is a lovely village and surrounding area to explore.

Patrington is a lovely Community Village and friendly, amazing Teashop which is Supported by the locals, Has a Beautiful Church in the heart of the Village very Nice Gift Shops and has two Pubs and a good takeaway all in walking distance.

  • "Lovely little cottage in a handy location."

Warm, clean and well decorated. Bed linen and towels first class !! Village has nice pubs, shops, garage, and if you are interested in churches then you'll be amazed by St.Patricks. Enormous and impressive. The welcome basket in the cottage is such a thoughtful addition. Just one annoying thing, very minor but still inconvenient - only one bedside table lamp. We both read before we go to sleep so a lamp is needed on each side of the bed. If you have mobility issues the stairs would be a no no but for an old cottage it has been beautifully renovated.

  • "We had a lovely weekend staying in this delightful cottage which is situated in the pretty village of Patrington ."

The cottage is beautifully decorated and the quality of bed linen and towels are way above the quality which one is usually provided with in rental holiday accommodation. There is a fantastic traditional fish and chip shop just round the corner which we can whole heartedly recommend. The property is in an ideal position to visit Withernsea , Spurn Point , Heddon , Hornsea and the beaches at Kilnsea , Mappleton and Turnstall . We would definitely book this cottage again
