"A little nugget of gold hidden in its own secret garden."
-
"Lovely property, garden, and local area."
Enjoyed the hot tub! Everything was to a high standard. Hope to stay with you again.
-
"Enjoyed the privacy of the lodge."
Very comfortable and well equipped. The garden was great for our dog and the outside space would be lovely in the spring and summer.
-
"Lovely property and the hot tub was a great luxury."
Also very good for dogs as big secure garden
-
"We loved our time here at Landsdowne lodge, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed."
We came here for a relaxing break after our wedding and wanted a retreat to relax in with our dogs. This place did not disappoint a beautiful garden with an amazing pond, and the wildlife were so lovely to watch on rainy days. On arrival we had been left welcome gifts, and relaxing in the hot tub after walks along the beech or through the woods was just perfect.
-
"This was a lovely holiday home and the location was perfect."
The house had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The hosts were on hand if we needed anything which we didn’t because they had provided everything we needed. The shop and village were very close for supplies and eating out. Dog walks were amazing. We loved it!!
-
"A lovely break in this wonderful cottage."
Great location, and very convenient for all local amenities whilst still being private and secluded. The hot tub is just fab :).
-
"Lovely relaxing stay."
A couple of issues with the hot tub. Loose connection in the kitchen lights needs attention as was difficult when cooking. There was a musty smell particularly in the twin room but no damp visible. Other than that it was a lovely property, amazing outside area for your dog and a lovely fish pond. Owners were approachable and helpful.
-
"This is our 3rd stay at Lansdowne Lodge, and once again we had a lovely stay."
There is so much to do in the area and the hot tub is a lovely treat at the end of the day. We will definitely be returning in the future.
-
"We had a lovely, relaxing week away."
The house was spacious and cosy- the hot tub amazing. The best thing was the garden being fenced in, so the dog could run around safely. Loved how it’s tucked away, like a secret garden. From a personal point of view, I’d love to have the choice of a second double bed- but honestly that just a preference, the house is lovely. We will certainly be booking again
-
"Lovely cottage, very private and all enclosed for dogs."
We found it to be very clean and has everything you could need for your stay.
-
"Lovely property."
Handy location by shops. Pubs. Lots of walks to do with the dog.
-
"We loved our short break at Lansdown lodge, the only tiny thing we found “wrong “ were the 2 leather sofas."
There were so squashy & low to the floor we found them really hard to get up from so a lot of the time we sat on chairs at the dining table. That was literally the only thing . The layout, the facilities , the welcome bubbly , the hot tub etc etc all fantastic
-
"Excellent stay in this lovely, cosy cottage."
Great location for visiting our older daughter at Lincoln Uni. Well equipped, with comfortable sofas and beds. Enclosed garden ideal for our 2 spaniels and we enjoyed a lovely walk around the nearby Willingham Woods. Tesco just over the road was super handy too! A minor issue with the en-suite toilet was communicated to us before arrival which was appreciated and solved any further contact. Hot tub great and enjoyed by us all. Thanks for a lovely stay.
-
"Absolutely gorgeous cottage, the owners were so helpful, really enjoyed our stay."
The hot tub was amazing, house fully equipped and clean. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for such a lovely getaway, just what me and my family was looking for.
-
"Very attentive owner, when Storm Babet caused a power cut in the area she brought over a flask of hot water and biccies so that we could have coffee while we holed up in the cottage."
Lovely place, hot tub very welcome at the end of the day

"An amazing find."
accommodation totally private and quiet set in a very short distance from the wolds that offers an abundance of walking footpaths and bridleways Woodlands vast open fields in such beautiful countryside. Also just a 2 minute walk into town that offers everything. Amazing tranquil villages offering pub food. Further afield you have wonderful dog friendly beaches that we found to be so clean. Really something for everyone from museums to fun parks to peace and quite of the countryside. Then back to the accommodation that we found to be home from home withvtge added bonus of the hot tub really there was nothing to find fault about the hosts were there but if required but very private. We thoroughly enjoyed a well needed quiet break with our 2 spaniels that loved every moment and have returned home very tired from their explorations. Thankyou xxx

Beds very comfortable. Spacious open plan living all on 1 level. Gardens and fish pond well looked after, beautiful spot.
-
"Lovely Lodge which was perfect for a few days away."
Some road noise in the garden but didn't bother us and can't be heard when inside. Garden was safe and secure for our little dog. Hot tub was a bonus. Lodge itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. Some lovely walks just a short distance away. Would go again if in that area
-
"The property was just as shown & the location was lovely."
Very relaxing. The owners were very kind & helpful especially when we had problems with our car they recommended a local garage. The local restaurants were only open on a few days & only til 8pm which we found strange as where we live there are lots of different options for food but we had a nice time.

"We had a lovely stay at Lansdowne Cottage, in an ideal location to get to villages and Cities around the area, had a few goes in the hot tub, and bottle of prosecco and bisquits was a lovely touch(and enjoyed) the koi pond was very realxing, listening to fish jumping and the waterfall so soothing, walked into the town on arrival, very pretty with lots of shops and pubs, Tesco just across the road very convienient to pick up a few supplies."
Alfie, our Jack Russell however did not like the stones on the path, he jumped up onto pond wall to get to gate, and i had to lift him down onto garden lol, the only negative we had was the showers were a little small, im on the large side and a very tight fit to get in and move around in shower, even hubby had difficulties and hes average size. The cottage was very well equiped, and the open plan layout was lovely, with lots of room, the bedrooms were both a very good size, all in all a really special place
-
"We had a lovely week at Lansdowne Lodge."
We liked the open plan layout and the garden areas. The owners were on hand if needed. The location is good with Tesco’s opposite and only a 5 minute walk into Market Rasen where there is a good choice of pubs and restaurants.
-
"We really enjoyed our stay, the photos don't do the outdoor space justice!"
The garden was perfect for our two labs and three year old to run around in and I bet it looks even more beautiful in full bloom! Theres some great fruit bushes/trees and shrubs and the fish un the pond were mesmerising to watch. The owners who we saw in passing were really friendly (so was their dog). Thank you.

"It's always a pleasure to stay here."
Beth and Martin are really helpful if you need them. It's like a secret garden. Once you're through the gate, it's a different world. Full of singing birds, trees, the garden and fish pond. They all create tranquility. The hot tub is nestled away and the perfect place to relax. Accommodation is spacious and has everything you could need, including slippers and robes to get you to the hot tub and back. Beth also leaves a treat of prosecco and biscuits. A really nice personal touch.
-
"Lovely comfortable cottage, good location for exploring."
Very peaceful even though not far from main road and Tesco is opposite, good for shopping for food. Our two dogs enjoyed themselves as well.
-
"Excellent holiday been there twice in 4 months"
-
"The cottage was lovely & great garden & hot tub Beth the owner kept good contact , 15 minutes walk to train station and market Rasen, tesco just across the road ."
The cottage was all on one level which was perfect for us , would definitely recommend
-
"A warm welcome from the owner ."
The property very warm and comfortable for a holiday in the winter , we really enjoyed our time here . In the spring and summer it must be delightful being able to sit in the garden with the lovely fish pond and all the trees and shrubs . Very handy for shops . Would return .

Thank you for the wine and chocs too. Will definitely be back xx
-
"This is a lovely lodge in a quiet location whilst having the convenience of Tesco as your corner shop."
It is an ideal base for exploring with Lincoln being only 16 miles away. The lodge itself is comfortable and well equipped, nice touches such as bath robes and slippers for the hot tub. The highlight though was being able to sit watching the birds bathing by the fish pond and other wildlife it attracts.
-
"What a fab place to stay, we loved this private little spot."
All the facilities you could need plus the amazing hot tub, which was blissful after a day out exploring the area! The lodge was lovely and clean on arrival and we were left a lovely bottle of Prosecco and biscuits. The lodge is just over the road from a big Tesco so anything you need is on hand, this being said you wouldn’t really know you were so close as it was lovely and peaceful. We would like to return in the winter to take advantage of the log burner and the hot tub!
-
"Had a great stay at Lansdowne Lodge."
Lots of places nearby to walk our dog, and also a big garden. The hot tub was lovely and very private. Easy to get to Lincoln by bus or train.
-
"Very nice, and well placed to visit places."
Great hot tub and garden area, parking area shrubs needs to be cut back. The owners have a really friendly big dog called Willow who liked to put his head through the trellis fence to say hello.
-
"Excellent cottage great facilities ideal base to explore Fully intend to return"
-
"We had 2 adults , 2 teenagers, a baby and 2 puppy’s and the fully equipped cottage met all our needs and more."

The lodge is well equipped with everything you need, the outdoor areas are excellent to relax in and the hot tub the cherry in the cake . Had a lovely time and was the perfect place for my dog. All enclosed and felt very relaxed about her being free to roam around .

"We all had a lovely relaxing stay."
The cottage was wonderfully private, beautiful gardens, fish pond and hot tub! A beautiful spot and a wonderful stay for us all including the dogs Pip and Dora. Thank you to Beth and her partner who helped us to sort out technical issues so that we could watch the womens rugby matches on our last evening. Much appreciated.
-
"Beth and Martin were very nice, we were welcomed to a lovely hand written note, bottle of prosecco and some very tasty shortbread."
The accommodation was clean and peaceful, large well kept hit tub and a pond with lovely fishes. The garden was a lovely addition and great for a picnic in nice weather.

It had everything we needed and having two en suite bedrooms was a big bonus. The enclosed garden was great for the two dogs, and although we didn’t use it, the hot tub was available. "The first place we have stayed at that has met all our requirements."
Secure garden for the dog, not overlooked anywhere, with a fish pond to relax around, hot tub if required, shop across the road with petrol station, green space around the corner to exercise dogs with poo bin, also one in the other direction, pub with lovely food (White Swan). The lodge was clean and comfortable, we had a nice relaxing week.
-
"Lovely accommodation private, secure lovely outside space easy walking distance from good food in a local hotel and shops."
-
"Loved the cottage and made good use of the hot tub."
Lovely private secluded garden and patio area with fish pond. Very peaceful week. Would highly recommend.
-
"We were very pleased to see this property listed again having stopped there in 2018 and wanting to go back."
The new owners have improved the offering by extending the area available to include a garden area which now means those staying have the option between the patio, garden or large hottub to while away the hours. The week we stayed in early June the weather was great, so we spent the afternoon chasing the sun around those areas following a morning spent walking our dog in the near by Willingham Woods. We stepped through the gate to the property and experienced 7 days of peace and tranquility. In the last 5 years we have stoped in various properties in different areas of the contry. This was up there with the best. We hope to return in the future.
-
"Our holiday was fantastic, was a perfect get away, it had everything you needed, plenty of places around to visit, the lodge was just perfect for us as a family, plenty of space for the dog to!"
Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back again! Thankyou so much.
