  • "On the plus side."

.. No 2 Water street is a nice house , well appointed and with good sized rooms (third bedroom aside). great location for shops , pubs and restaurants. On the down side... Parking can be a bit of a problem, we went out of season and it was still tricky. No ground floor toilet and the third bedroom is tiny and very limited outside space. Overall It proved to be a very nice stay for just the two of us and would be ideal for a small family or two couples. good value for money.

  • "We really loved this house for its stylish simplicity."

It has plenty of space and has been thoughtfully furnished, and without the clutter that you sometimes find in other properties. Everything was clean and well maintained. In a great location close to everything in the town. A perfect holiday house!

Short walking distance to all amenities. Comfortable lounge for the evenings. Comfortable beds. Only problem I had were pillows too high and hard for me. Had to buy softer pillows. Maybe a range of pillows would help but that's personal preference. Had a great holiday and would recommend this property Thank you

Very convenient for shops, restaurants, harbour and beach yet on a quiet side street. Very well equipped except missing a few kitchen utensils. Was unable to connect smart TV to WiFi. Would happily stay again. Highly recommend the Moody Cow restaurant 5 minute drive south on the coast road.

  • "A beautifully renovated cottage, wonderfully decorated and furnished, and in a wonderful location."

The family bathroom was amazing. Our only criticism overall was the lack of kitchen utensils/pans etc. It was a fantastic kitchen but as a self catering holiday there was hardly any cooking utensils (1 spoon and 1 spatula). The was nothing to take things from the oven or the grill ( no pot towel or oven gloves) and only a single knife and fork per guest. Great for people who eat out all the time but not practical for families using it as a self catering cottage. That aside, we would definitely recommend this holiday cottage to anyone interested in a lovely holiday in Wales.

Perfect location. The cottage itself is fabulous. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owner sent a lovely welcome message on arrival, and sorted out a very minor issue within a couple of hours. So, highly recommended place in a great location with a superb host. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay. The only suggestion we could make is that if there had been a second set of crockery and cutlery, we could have used the dishwasher less often.

The property is situated just off the main street and is perfect for vsiitng the shops, restaurants and harbourside. The inside is perfectly presented; stylish, well-equipped and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are roomy, with great showers! There is no parking but while we were there (mid May) we were able to park in the street outside the property most of the time. Other times we parked elsewhere. There is plenty of parking in the area, so it wasn't a problem at all. Overall, no complaints at all!

  • "Overall, a fantastic holiday!"

The holiday house was lovely, very spacious and in a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. The shower was particularly impressive! A lovely house to return to after being out for the day, very relaxing and cosy. Parking was a bit of a nightmare due to close proximity to the high street and lack of designated parking (we were aware of this prior to the holiday though). We did have to wipe some of the surfaces down on arrival as they were quite dusty. However, this didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay. Would definitely recommend!

It has obviously been renovated recently and the owners have made a wonderful job providing a faultless cottage. The kitchen and the bathroom are in particular, excellent. The outside area is small, and not very inviting but that it not important when the cottage is so well placed for the harbour, the sea front or the riverside. Overall a fantastic cottage in a most wonderful place.

The cottage is only a 2 minute walk to the harbour area, shops and restaurants. • "The description on the website was a bit over the top and inaccurate and this was pointed out to the sales advisor(online chat)."

It is still incorrect (8/9/18) The number and size of beds in the description is not correct. Eg "Sumptuous King Size " and "twin room" when in fact both had the same size double bed. This is not to detract from the house itself - it exceeded our expectations! The house itself was very comfortable, newly refurbished and had all the facilities we needed. The upstairs was very comfortable with thick carpets, modern bathrooms and plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and things like dishwasher tablets and cleaning products provided which is not always the case. The owner was very helpful. The location was perfect - we could walk into Aberaeron within a few minutes where we could find shops, cafes, restaurants and the harbour. There was also a quiet riverside walk in the other direction, and two parks within walking distance nearby with childens' play equipment, Parking wasn't a problem as the road was fairly quiet.
