The property

The property is situated in a beautiful hamlet at the foot of Torrent Walk 2 miles from Dolgellau, Gwynedd.

The house has been recently renovated to a high standard.

The cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a memorable getaway in a picturesque setting.

Decked access leads you into the attractive glass and oak entrance porch and boot store.

The cottage has 2 downstairs bedrooms one with a king-sized bed the other which has two singles (which can be zipped together to form a king-sized bed).

There is also a sofa bed in the lounge which can be used by prior arrangement. The ground floor also houses a stylish shower room, equipped with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail, and underfloor heating, ensuring a warm and inviting environment as you prepare for your day. For your convenience, a utility room is available, fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as an additional heated towel rail, basin, and WC.

Upstairs has a comfortable large living room with large windows providing amazing views.

Ideal for relaxing and bird watching.

There is a fully equipped kitchen diner which has access onto a wonderful, decked area perfect for relaxing on and enjoying the tranquillity and beautiful views.

There is off-road parking for two cars.

This peaceful cottage away from main roads in the heart of Eryri/Snowdonia National Park .

The cottage is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning local wildlife and countryside including Torrent Walk, or exploring the beautiful mountains and beaches slightly further afield.

Local attractions include Precipice Walk, Mawddach Trail, Coed Y Brenin trail and MTB centre and the majestic Cader Idris.

Beautiful sandy Barmouth and Aberdyfi Beaches are only a short distance away.

Whilst the cottage feels remote the attractive market town of Dolgellau is just 2 miles from the house, offering a range of local amenities.

With so much to do and see in this fascinating part of Wales, Clywedog Cottage offers the ideal base for your unforgettable getaway.

DOLGELLAU

Fairbourne 9.3 miles; Barmouth 10 miles; Aberdovey 23.2 miles.

This small, beautiful market town is located in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea. It’s a superb base for a holiday - perfect for combining the many outdoor pursuits on offer in Snowdonia with relaxing days out on the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. The town itself offers a good selection of shops, five pubs and a wine bar, along with a number of excellent restaurants, cafes and two bakeries, that produce fresh bread and cakes each day. Dolgellau is home to over 200 listed buildings, allegedly the highest concentration in the whole of Wales, and the town is also a designated 'cycle break centre' boasting a range of dedicated cycle routes all around the area. Close by is the Coed y Brenin mountain bike trail and this location is ideal for quiet outdoor recreation with superb scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches all close to hand.
