  • "We had a lovely time at Garden cottage."

The setting was lovely and rural. We had relaxing evenings by the fire and out in the hot tub. The house was huge, warm and well-equipped. The owners were great and very helpful. We had trips out to Montgomery (a lovely, quaint little village with castle ruins) and to Powys Castle. A good, reasonably priced meal can be found 10 minutes away at The Sarn pub. A lovely stay had by the whole family.

  • "The cottage was great with a fantastic hot tub."

It was located in a quiet area but still only a short drive to a supermarket to stock up on food and drink. The owners were great and very helpful. The cottage was spacious with games and DVD's to entertain you.

Hot tub a lovely bonus, and the two chickens wandering round always made us laugh, which we christened Bert & Ernie x

  • "Garden Cottage is in a lovely setting , it is a beautiful cottage with ..."

Garden Cottage is in a lovely setting , it is a beautiful cottage with everything you need , just a couple of little tweaks that need fixing , such as the posts on the stairs which have become loose with nails sticking out and we were inundated with flies downstairs too, couldn't work out where they was coming from but made it quite uncomfortable especially when sleeping in the downstairs bedroom , we mostly ate outside as the setting was lovely , would definitely return if the fly issue was solved

Hi Claire, thank you for taking the time to write a review for one of the cottages at our new venture. We took some time investigating after you brought this to our attention but didn't find any trace of flies and we have tightened the newell post caps on the stairs, so thank you for bringing to our attention. The cottage is cleaned meticulously for every group of guests. We have monitored this with the guests previously and post your visit and can confirm this issue seemed to be an isolated occurrence. We hope bar this issue your stay was enjoyable and relaxing. Best wishes, Matt & Elin Property Owner

  • "What a fantastic week we have had at Garden Cottage."

We arrived to be greeted by the new owners who had arrived the same day. Through out the week they where very helpful and welcoming. The property had everything we needed including creaky staircases which added to the charm of the place. The hottub was a huge hit in the evening. The grounds are lovely with short walks around the ponds was ideal with a dog. Newtown is a short 10 minute drive and has all the amenities you could ask for, very dog friendly. Devils Bridge was a nice visit and then onto cardigan bay for fish and chips. Highly recommend this place and the best of luck to the new owners on their new adventure.

Thank you so much Penny, we're really glad you had a happy stay at our new place. Thank you for the lovely feedback. Take care, Matt & Elin Property Owner
