"Beautifully clean cottage, super comfy beds and great hot tub."
Thankyou for a wonderful stay, we had a great time!
-
"The property was ok but not as per the pictures shown."
It’s the most expensive property we have visited, and was massively overpriced. Lovely village that it’s located in. Hot tub should have noted on advert as beside the road and was only half functioning (and annoys the neighbours with its noise). At best it’s a 4 person cottage, and the wide angle lens used for the advert showing space that really is not there. Needs more crockery and cutlery for a 4 person family. Needs cleaning products left so we could wipe down food surfaces. Bedrooms were good with plenty of storage space in the two doubles, but the bunk bed room has no storage. Rear garden was overgrown and nothing like advert. A lot of room for improvement.

"Beautiful house with the comfiest beds!"
Lovely and clean! The house had all of the things we needed to enjoy our stay. The shower was divine! The neighbours were kind and welcoming and our children absolutely loved the jacuzzi. The views on the way to the house were breathtaking!
-
"This place is lovely."
The cottage is done to a high standard and is so comfortable. Lovely quiet areas with a nice pub only a few minutes away

"Lovely cottage."
Very clean with everything you could need. If you want to eat out here is a very nice pub (The Hand) less than 5 minutes walk away but the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a barbecue supplied. The hot tub is out the front of the premises next to the road but this is not an issue as it has privacy fencing around it and the road is very quiet. Very enjoyable stay.

"A lovely comfortable stay."
The cottage was spotless. The only reason i havent given 10/10 for recommending the property is that a lot of the roads in the area are single track, especially travelling anywhere other than towards Chirk. We found a lot of the travelling we did in the area quite stressful because of this. I do it is an important overall considerstion, but the cottage itself was lovely

"The cottage was lovely."
Clean & well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a great holiday here. Thanks!

"Great place to stay really enjoyed just chilling out and enjoying the local pubs and days out plenty to do."
-
"We absolutely loved our stayed at the 3 Rock Terrace."
It is like a home from home. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. Lots of kitchen equipment. The mattresses were like sleeping on clouds which we all needed (tired mums trip). There is a couple of local pubs which are 5 minutes walk from the house and lots of activities to do close by. I would absolutely stay here again and already recommend it to friend and family.

"This was a lovely cottage that we were very fortunate to book at short notice."
Everything worked as expected, it was in a lovely location near two pubs (and the Cider and Gin festival was back at The Hand the night we were there!) and the hot tub was also fun. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower fantastic and the three bedrooms had comfortable beds. Very restful. Thanks for having us!

"The house was lovely - the beds in particular were very comfortable."
The village itself was very friendly and quiet which was exactly what we wanted. The hot tub was great fun and a cool addition to our stay. There’s a no shoe policy at the house, which I understand, but it would have been handy to have had a list of the rules in advance - because then I would have packed my slippers!

"We like the property a lot!"
Kids loved the bunk beds. The village itself is very beautiful with a very nice pub and the back garden. Its in the middle of nowhere which is exactly how we wanted it. The house has all the things which we needed and it was kids friendly with smart tvs everywhere.

"The hot tub chemicals were far to strong, gave myself & husband quite a rash in our bodies, we have our own tub and have never experienced this before."
More details of how to actually get to the cottage are required example ‘pass the school, turn next right up a shared driveway’…. We have stayed at a few Sykes Cottages, all have given a gift of a bottle of something on arrival, we were very disappointed Rock Cottage didn’t offer this! It was a cute little cottage in a tiny village with an amazing pub called The Hand in an incredibly beautiful part of Wales.
Thank you for your comments, we always appreciate feedback and are happy to take them on board. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the area and local amenities whilst staying at the cottage. We are sorry to hear about your issue with the hot tub, however we do follow the hot tubs guidelines thoroughly, and have not had this issue before. Thank you for the advise on the directions, if it would have helped our guests it is definitely something we will look into getting added for future stays. We always want to improve for our guests and would like to thank you for choosing to stay at Rock Cottage and would hope to welcome you back again. Property Owner

"Beautiful cottage, in a beautiful setting."
The hot tub is located at the front of the property, which is missing from the description, but this didn’t bother us. 5 minute walk to 2 lovely pubs, and lots of great walks in the area. Would highly recommend
Thank you for the positive review and are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. It's nice to hear you made the most of the location and enjoyed the local amenities. Property Owner

"Parking was very tight, we had 3 cars and other than the drive there was nowhere else to park."
The hot tub is situated at the front of the house so we had to walk around the cars to get to the hot tub. If 3 couples are to stay in this cottage just be mindful the third bedroom with the bunk bed is very small, it’s probably best for maybe two couples and two children. Please make sure you book a table if you wish to eat at the pubs close by as they are always fully booked and will not get you in at short of notice. Which then means you’ll have to drive to the next village to eat. I recommend the Swan Inn, the food and service was superb! They got us in last minute. There isn’t much to do on the door step here, so be mindful that you will have to drive if you wish to go out and about. Overall this little cottage, is beautiful and immaculate. The hot tub was amazing it was nice to chill with family on the night. If you do not wish to venture out they have all the facilities you need to have a cosy weekend in. Beautiful stay with family just what we needed, thank you!

"The house itself was lovely, comfortable and great for our stay."
To have it listed as Llangollen should not be allowed as it is not. The outside areas, we feel, were photographed in a way that did not make it apparent that the hot tub is on the front of a shared drive and the seating isn’t very private. The beds, living room and kitchen however were lovely and clean. It would have been helpful to have instructions for the burner.

"What a lovely property, the beds were stunning and comfy."
The village is something else with two lovely pubs that serve outstanding food.

"Just a fantastic place to relax and spend some time with the family."
The Hand and The west pubs are both fantastic to eat and drink in. We will definitely be back

"Fabulous cottage in a very peaceful setting."
Great walks straight from the front door, hills, valleys, sheep and green green grass! Lovely pub five minutes away. Such a shame we had to leave 24 hours early due to a local lockdown coming into force!
