  • "Overall everything was good."

Having stayed in lots of different properties we have quite a good idea of what to expect. The owner was very pro-active although you sometimes don't need to be told to take sheets off beds, empty bins, etc! Lovely location, but on a busy road. No shops for 3-4 miles, no problem as we knew this. Weather was great and lots of dog walks near. :-) Thanks.

Hi Paul, thank you so much for your valuble feedback. It's great to hear you got to enjoy so many lovely walks in the area. I hope we provided everything your pooch needed and got to enjoy the dog treats we left. I'm so sorry if you felt it was unnecessary for us to mention taking the sheets off the bed and emptying the bins. Unfortunately, due to previous experiences we have found, we do just need to provide a small polite reminder. We hope to see you all again soon! Property Owner

CWRT

Machynlleth 3 miles; Aberdovey 7 miles.

The small hamlet of Cwrt stands on the edge of the beautiful Happy Valley, located between the ancient town of Machynlleth and the picturesque coastal village of Aberdovey near the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park. Aberdovey is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18-hole links golf course. The village is often referred to as an "artist's paradise" with its pastel coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, and it boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of watersports enthusiasts. The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dovey and Dysynni valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.
