  • "On day we arrived they were burning garden waste which they apologised about but unfortunately it happened most days which left us unable to use outdoor facilities."

  • "It was a lovely place for a younger couple."

Both of us being over 70, getting up and down from the chairs was quite difficult. I understand that it's an age problem, nothing to do with the quality of the lodge. Meals at the pub were excellent, and the owners were kind and friendly.

  • "The lodge would benefit from soundproofing between each as at times it was not the quietest ."

Other than that the property made for a great holiday and was enhanced by the great attitude of the owners Robert and Rachael.
