  • "Everything about the cottage was as good as we could expect."

We could only spend two nights, but we were extremely comfortable. We got a warm welcome from our hostess, who met us and was also there by coincidence to see us off. We would suggest adding, "where the road markings go left" in the directions, before the words "bear right" - we were misled by Google and had to get a neighbour to redirect us.

  • "Dear Sally and Wendy, thankyou for all your help when the car broke down."

Our stay was lovely and we were lucky with the weather. The cottage is comfortable, clean and very well supplied with utensils etc. The welcome package was a lovely surprise. It is so peaceful and I watched the sun come up each morning over the brewin mountains. Say thankyou to Linda for all our early morning talks. We will be back in the future as the cottage is such a comfortable place to relax and everybody was so friendly. Thankyou Janet and Steve

  • "Bethania is a beautiful cottage surrounded by peaceful countryside."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage has everything you need and more for a relaxed home from home holiday. Please bear in mind that the rear garden is just the patio area and there are horses in the field right behind that. Flies were an issue and did stop us from sitting outside, which was a shame but we thoroughly enjoyed feeding them carrots at dusk when the flies eventually disappeared. Thank you so much for the lovely welcome pack too!

The cottage has everything you need for home from home comfort . The beds are divine !!! And the pony’s in the meadow directly behind the cottage where the icing on the cake. We loved our welcome hamper and milk already in the fridge . We have found our country bolt hole and can’t wait to return. Nicola , Steven & Tyler

  • "From the moment we walked through the door of the bungalow we felt at home."

It had everything we needed. The shower is lovely and so is the bath. The garden is small but nice enough to sit out and watch the sun going down. The beds were very comfy and the contact before arriving to ask how we wanted the beds set out was a nice touch. We arrived to find a lovely welcome pack. It is an ideal spot to be based to explore from and is lovely and quiet at night. We will definitely be going back. Thanks.

Near the beautiful village of Llamrhaeadr-ym-!ocjnamt but not overlooked by anything except 2 lovely horses. The back is a perfect suntrap but unfortunately we had only one day of sunshine. At least the comfort of the cottage helped to compensate for the rain.Would recommend this cottage highly

  • "Lovely holiday property, has obviously been renovated with care and good use made of the space."

Although it is on the junction of 2 lanes it was very quiet. The outlook is lovely, with outside seating at the front and the back. The welcome pack was much appreciated (milk, eggs, local cheese, waffles) The property was very clean, the heating was efficient. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. In the bedrooms the sensible decision has been made to maximise bed space (2 x 3 foot singles, or superking if made up as one) so hanging space is coat hooks on the wall, with drawer space for folding clothes. I appreciate both of these are very subjective but the mattresses are very firm, however the pillows are extremely comfortable. Excellent area for cycling. The local village has a small grocers with all the basics, a butcher, newsagent, chip shop. We'd definitely be happy to recommend this property.

  • "A really lovely cottage with stunning views of the Berwyn Mountains."

Very well equipped with all you could want. Nice touch of a welcome pack. Beds are really comfy . Log fire is also in situ. If you are into star gazing and have a telescope its very dark skies here. Nice little village with a quirky Indian (the Plough) lovely food. Lake Vynrwy relatively close by as are the Pistyll Rhaeadr falls. If you are reasonably fit then Cadair Berwyn is brilliant . I would highly recommend Bethania it really is very good indeed.

Hi there, thank you for the great review! I'm glad you enjoyed the dark skies and the walking and the local eateries, we are very lucky. Sorry to have missed you, I tried to pop to say hi a couple of times but you were out on adventures! Hope to welcome you back one day. Best regards Sally and Wendy Property Owner
