  • "Absolutely beautiful Cottage, very clean inside, lovely warm & cosy ."

Beds comfortable & showers worked lovely. Downside was couldn't get the WiFi working did message owner but never got a reply. When we arrived there was lots of dog poo in the garden which should have been picked up. We were looking forward to using the games room but wasnt in good condition, very damp with puddles of water everywhere & mouldy food left. Hottub was amazing. Eventhough it's right out of the way it was easy to find our way around to the shops/beaches so definitely need a car to get around! Would definitely recommend staying here & would love to visit again as great value for money.

House was clean and comfortable. All enjoyed the hot tub and games room. Games room needs a bit of TLC. Only down side of the house was the stairs and top floor. They were very noisy when walked on so not great when in bed and others are still moving about.

  • "It wasn’t the cleanest property, very dusty around edges, loads of cobwebs, washing up still left in dishwasher, hairs in main bed, smelt of sewage when flushed any toilet."

Bunk beds held together by cable ties. Garden slabs lifting up. BBQ was filthy with old food remains on it. Games room was rubbish, didn’t have the correct balls for a full game of pool, only had 3 darts which were breaking, ping pong bats needed updating, couldn’t sit in there as sofas smelt of dog and had a damp feeling. Used hot tub twice then it started to smell, no owners or any one about to sort out problems. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay, the owners were extremely friendly and the accommodation was extremely clean."

If we had to make suggestions we would say the showers need sorting there is little point the property having two bathrooms when only one shower can run at once and if any water is run whilst showering the pressure just doesn’t diminish it just dies so the shower becomes a dribble. Had this not been an issue we would have give the property five star ⭐️

  • "Very spacious and comfortable property with real character and well set out."

The outside space was great for keeping our dog safe ,outside lights ,bbq area, washing line ,seating area and hot tub which was a special treat even in late October!! My seven year old loved the games room and play area was also a great surprise too. would also have definitely used washing machine if staying longer ,an added bonus to be taking home clean clothes. Kitchen great with large fridge freezer, large dining table ,dishwasher etc we used facilities every morning to cook breakfast and prepare packed lunch for the five of us ,we found everything we needed but may have been useful if the toaster had been larger as it was a little tricky to provide warm toast with cooked breakfast for five guests at the same time. Beds very comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space ,reading lamps in every bedroom. loads of coat hooks ,coffee tables in lounge and plenty of room for outdoor shoes under stairs, during the winter months ,kids bedroom great and plenty of storage space for cases loads of mirrors sockets, a bonus having three loos, hocks on every door also in bathroom great for clothes ,dressing grown ,swimwear and toiletries, Would definitely recommend this properly for couples and families alike would love to return during summer months to make more use of facilities provided. Also the great local walks. A great four night break had by all the family.

  • "Lovely spacious cottage in beautiful surroundings."

Cleanliness was very good, but what an annoying shower in the en-suite as it pointed straight at the wall and we had to take it off the rail and hold it to have a shower to stop it from flooding the floor. Also couldn’t understand why only one bedroom had towels when it said that towels would be provided. Other than that a lovely cottage to stay in and we would definitely stay again.

Quite rural which suits us. The owners were lovely and said to just call them if we couldn't find the place. Thanks to satnav we were OK but appreciated the offer. During the stay the owners were lovely, not in your face but around if you needed them. It's a working farm and we got a wee demo of the milking by the very informative farmer. He went above and beyond, kids loved it. Friendly farm cat, again kids loved that too. Hot tub and games room were the cherries on the cake!

  • "A fantastic week with our 3 dogs and 2 Grandchildren."

The cottage was extremely clean and tidy, which was brilliant for us as we arrived quite late after our long journey. The hot tub was an amazing asset and huge hit with the little ones, and ourselves. The rear garden was fenced in so that the dogs were well controlled but free to venture out as well and the views were phenomenal. Indoors we couldn't want for anything else, except maybe a bit of lube on some of the door hinges upstairs. Not any sort of problem but very noisy once the little ones were asleep. The only slight downer, particularly for my ancient bones, was the low and soft sofas. Like i say, only a problem for me and next time we will take a few cushions. Just something for future guests to be aware of in case they are of a similar state of worn-out-body-itis. I would highly recommend this holiday cottage for very many reasons and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely going back soon, as we were informed by our 5 year old Granddaughter!

The owners live next door and are lovely people offering services / help throughout your stay, but also leave you to enjoy your holiday. The only challenge we found is with our 15 month old, there are a lot of hard services, floors and steps but it was manageable and the owners provided a baby gate for the stairs. I would definitely recommend and have already told family and friends about it.

Nice garden with all extras outside (bbq, hot tub). Comfortable bed and sofa. Hot tub and bbq was a nice add on tho and 3 bathrooms made it easy especially a downstairs one aswell. Quite a few spiders and cobwebs in room but no dust which shows it has been cleaned. No temperature change on the hot tub would make it better. The games room was nice to spend time in and use the facilities but it does need a lot of TLC such as a lot of the darts were broke including the flights, table tennis table was wobbly and could only find one ball, also there was no light working so couldn’t see at night.

The cottage welcomed us with a huge real Xmas tree and tasteful decorations for Xmas, the fairy lights made the whole place magical. Mill cottage was spacious for four adults and four little dogs with and enclosed garden at the rear and extensive access to local walks. The place is a little off the beaten track, but this was what we wanted. There nearest shops ect are in the village of Aberaeron a 10 minute drive away. This is a really pretty town with harbour and access to the beach where we could walk the dogs as it was winter time. The cottage has WiFi...if you needed it... It had a TV and radio... The cottage is full of charm and spotlessly clean. The property has three bedrooms, one en suite double, another double and bunk beds in the third. The large kitchen diner is very comfy, if I was to make a suggestion... The integrated fridge was small and struggled to cope with the Xmas demands of food... Although there was a communal freezer in the games room/area.... This kitchen would easily accoomodate a large free standing fridge freezer and that would have been a huge bonus.... But really wasn't a huge issue as we adapted with freezer bags and used the outside to store wine/beer etc... Nature chilled them for us. We would very much recommend mill cottage and we look forward to a return very soon. We had a relaxing wonderful Xmas and so did the our dogs.

The farm is a little "rough around the edges". But its a great base for exploring the local area. Itd a real shame that yiu have to drive past the "dumping ground" on the lanes into the cottages as it does give a worrying feeling on approach to your holiday. That said Jamie and Kate the couple who manage the business from site are absolutely lovely! They were so kind to us and our children and we were truly humbled by their laid back attitude and style of business. Our children loved their stay and it was just what we wanted. A break away from holiday parks and shops etc. Our aim was to relax in the surrounding nature and beaches and that's exactly what we got so we enjoyed our stay. Good luck with any future expansion plans you have.

Lovely walks and places to visit. would love to go again when the weather was drier. The only down side was the approach. Did not mind the country tracks, that made the experience away from civalisation. But the 'recycling yard' at first made us worry what we were going to find at the end of the farm track.
