"If you are looking for a retreat and a get away from the hustle and bustle."
If you enjoy walking taking a moment taking in the breathtaking views, the marshes is for you. It is a beautiful bungalow, maintained to a very high standard. Mrs Williams the owner will go above and beyond for all your needs. We had a brilliant week and will be returning.

"Second time at the Marshes and it won’t be the last, I love this property!"
Mrs Williams is always so welcoming and kind. The Marshes has everything and more, I love waking up and watching the cows in the meadow and again in the evening going home. It has the perfect location, not too far from the town but also good for adventures we managed to see so many new places all within 1.5 hours away. Can’t wait to go back, already thinking of where to visit next for when I stay at the Marshes. Thank you Mrs Williams

"As a family of 4, 1 child of 7yrs and one 17 yrs they loved the surroundings and the view whist sitting in the conversatory with a coffee in the morning was lovely."
The bungalow and gardens were very clean and tidy, the owners also supplys the necessities which was a lovely surprise from loo roll to coffee. Comfortably furnished, you are close to Welshpool and would recommend the steam railway, this was a great journey and you can stand outside on the rear tread plate to watch the world go by.

"The Marshes is a lovely property with lots of space and a nice garden with fabulous views."
Good facilities provided and very comfortable. Although it seems rural, it is only a short drive from shopping facilities. There is plenty to do in the area - would highly recommend Derwen Garden Centre for refreshments as well as plants and a children's maze. Further afield try Cross Foxes at Dolgellau for a meal and Barmouth for a good beach. Mrs Williams ( a lovely lady who owns the property) came by to make sure everything was okay and provided a very nice welcome pack. A teapot would be nice and the instructions need a revamp to make it easier to find. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this property.

"Thank you Mrs Williams for an awesome long weekend, it was amazing."
The cottage was stunning along with the views. Thank you for the lovely treats. A lovely gesture. Also, would like to thank Mrs Williams for giving us a call and guiding us to the property as it was dark and late when we arrived. Will definitely return and also recommend to family and friends.

"This was our second stay and we had a comfortable, quiet and restful week"
-
"A spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy bungalow with an attractive garden and wonderful view in quiet surroundings, plus a welcome pack of a delicious cake, a bottle of wine, chocolates and milk."
We really enjoyed our stay there. Our only suggestion would be instructions on how to use the microwave and the oven timer and perhaps the provision of a smallish microwaveable bowl with a lid.

I love how Mrs Williams has decorated her property, she really has thought of everything. Mrs Williams was so kind and left us some lovely treats, I will definitely be returning and miss the Marches already- I could sit in the conservatory all day and watch the cows whilst listening to the birds, pure bliss. Thank you once again Mrs W :)

We had the most wonderful stay at "The Marshes", the cottage is absolutely stunning and is finished to a very high standard but the icing on the cake is a stunning view and beautiful garden - we spent a lot of our indoor time sat in the conservatory soaking it all up

"The Marshes is a beautiful, welcoming and well appointed property, with a perfectly landscaped garden to sit in while taking in the magnificent uninterrupted views."
The owner has given the utmost care and thought to giving her guests a comfortable and relaxed time - not least by adding some generous and thoughtful treats to welcome people and make them feel at home! We had a lovely and relaxed week's holiday break - just what we needed (it was perfection and we didn't want to leave). Thank you, we hope to return soon!

"Very pleased to be back at this superb property, and will definitely return."
The level of comfort and especially cleanliness is exemplary. Can not fault it, it is absolutely Five Star. We have stayed in many self catering lets for over 20yrs this one is way up there, Mrs Williams very kindly provided a hairdryer as requested last time, and is spoiling us with treats! Diet starts tomorrow!

Fabulous property with the bonus of beautiful views.Everything we needed was thought of. The treats left by Mrs Williams was a lovely touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we have had a peaceful and relaxing time. We will be booking again in the future.

"This is an exceptional let, we have stayed at many over the years and this is definitely 5star."
Peaceful, amazing views, high standard of decor and comfort, proper mattresses not memory foam! Thanks to Mrs Williams for treats. We love it so much we will be back in 3 weeks. Just suggest a hairdryer would be good, and a washing machine in utility, otherwise perfect! Will highly recommend!
-
"The hot and cold taps in the kitchen are labelled wrong, a note would be good to warn."
Also no hand soap in either bathroom. Really minor but someone might mark you down for it. We had a lovely staycation and the kids loved it too.
