These valley cottages are ideally located in a peaceful setting surrounded by the owners’ farm with stunning Welsh horses and ponies and a short five minute drive from Llandysul town. Llandysul offers a selection of local shops and pubs and is just half an hour’s drive from the county town of Carmarthen or the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay. Each individually furnished with their own unique style, these properties offer flexible accommodation for families or small groups. These diverse cottages are clustered around the farmyard with the buzz of everyday life around you and views across the fields. Each property has a feeling of privacy and is comfortably furnished. A little further north is the regency harbour town of Aberaeron, 18 miles, with its multi-coloured houses lining the harbour and surrounding streets or perhaps visit the nearby National Trust’s Llanerchaeron, a working farm estate, where you can take a stroll to Aberaeron town along the old railway, a great way to while away a few hours and perhaps treat yourself to a honey ice-cream at your destination. There are a fabulous array of outdoor activities nearby with canoeing in nearby Llandysul, walking, cycling and birdwatching. Why not visit Brecha Forest with its fantastic walking and cycling trails, a real favourite of mountain bikers, or the adjacent Llanllwni Mountain with is stretch of heathland and impressive views? The nearby coastline opens up fantastic days with the coastal path taking you through sandy beaches, craggy coves and secret beaches. Why not take a wildlife watching boat trip, from New Quay where you may be lucky enough to catch sight of the bay’s resident dolphins or grey seal population, as well as a myriad of birdlife? Boat trips to spot dolphins, whitewater rafting or a trip on a steam railway may appeal, or how about a day out to explore all the historic castles, mills and formal gardens?
