  • "While Oakleigh was comfortable, clean and well equipped."

The only problem was the television which was unwatchable. I left a message for the owners at the start of the week but nothing was done, nor did they come and apologise or explain what the problem was. For this reason we will not be returning to Oakleigh in the future.

The homemade Barabrith was amazing & very much appreciated...

  • "Loved our stay, it was so cosy clean and welcoming, it had everything you needed toilet roll, clean bedding , cooking utensils, cleaning products."

Even though it sleeps 3-4 people i would say it is more for 2 adults. It could do with saying where to put your rubbish as there was no dustbin outside the house we was here for almost a week with only a tiny bin in the cupboard. I would also add that places to visit and where abouts they are as recommendations would also be very good to add. We was a family of 3 with a 10 year old and every night was googling where to go what do to. First time in wales as a little get away before our baby is due. We did leave two days earlier than expected due to myself being unwell. But above all that it was lovely thank you for having us in your little cottage home. Amie

  • "A stunning little place, definately not big enough for 4 though."

Attention to detail was spot on. Home made cake greeted us on arrival which was delicious (thankyou so much) as well as 2 Easter eggs :-) only criticism is the glass shelf above sink in bathroom.one of us suffered a nasty cut after hitting head on it whilst washing face. Lovely location. Had some lovely local walks. Lovely pub just down the road. On the whole a gorgeous bank holiday weekend. Thanyou for having us.

A lovely clean and comfortable cottage just nice for two every thing was spotless did not like the cutlery as there was no butter knife and l found the knives awkward to use other that we had a lovely enjoyable stay and the cake was a lovely touch thank you again

  • "An ideal place for me to visit my family."

The property is excellent if a little small. A lack of storage would be my only observation it was fine for just me but I feel would be a problem with any more people. But putting that to one side I would definitely visit again.

  • "Lovely little cottage, out in the middle of nowhere!"

Peace & quiet was just what we needed, the back garden isn't even overlooked - great location! Very clean, lovely welcome pack, great communication with owners - highly recommended. Wouldn't really say it's suited to 4 people, but perfect for 2

  • "The garage conversion is small."

Luckily for 4 of the 5 nights it was only me. A few essentials missing for my needs which I left a note detailing to the owners. A lovely location 15 mins from the RJAH hospital which madevisiting easy. It was clean but oddly I slept on the mattress protector and not a sheet which I found out only once I stripped the bed. Don't let this review put you off but be aware it is small with no washing machine or dish washer.

  • "Cottage was lovely and well equipped, really appreciated the home made cake."

Being only 4 ft 9 a long mirror in the bedroom and a fold up step stool would have been handy as I had difficulty reaching things. Advertised as sleeps 4, it seemed a bit small for 4 adults in my opinion, that said we had a great stay there.

  • "Its a lovely cottage."

But not sure if its for 4 people. I would say perfect for 2 ppl as the rooms are too small. No place for kids to play and also to keep luggage if you are there for a week and it would be good to have clear information regarding whats available on the page. For ex it does not mention that there is no dish washer, washing machine, no soaps or hand wash etc.. but for sure a nice cottage :-)
