  • "Dragon Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday."

I just spend the week there with family and we had a great time. The Lodge is outfitted with everything you need. The bread, milk and cake there at the start of the week is a lovely touch.   Kev and Julie tend the hot tub each day and are friendly and helpful. Julie gave us ideas of places to visit while there. Thank you Julie   It's our 2nd time at Manor Farm Lodges but won't be our last.

  • "What a beautiful lodge, in the stunning hills between Welshpool and Newtown."

So peaceful and quiet. When we arrived, the log burner was on, a beautiful chocolate cake was waiting for us on the table and you instantly felt at home. The lodge itself has great facilities with the king size bunks and bathroom on one side and another king sized bed and bathroom the other side. The kitchen, diner has everything you need to get a proper meal cooked if you like. The hot tub on the outside decking, just wow! But the icing on the cake, the animals. Bob, Tom and Ed the Alpacas, the Goats and watching the chickens do the 100m dash for lunch is something else. Big thanks to Kev, and Julie for the welcome and lodges you provide. We’ll be back in 2022 without doubt.

We had a fantastic time there, the lodge and surrounding areas are beautiful.. long or short walks and seeing all the animals.. the alpacas are a delight. The lodge Owners Kev and Julie are very kind and very approachable with any questions.. The lodge had everything needed for a relaxing week away. Newtown was not too far away either. Our Daughter loved searching for Dewi the dragon around and finding the chocolate left for her.. such a lovely idea. The welcome book was fantastic as it explained how to use any amenities in the lodge as well as information of local restaurants and places to visit. It was very informative. Manor Lodges is truely a beautiful peaceful place and we are looking at returning again soon.

  • "Myself and my girlfriend decided to have a break and try something new so we found this place and booked it and I can honestly say it was the by far the best thing we could of done it was absolutely stunning, warm, cozy, relaxing and just everything needed and wanted in a good getaway."

The owners were exceptionally Great and when asking for anything or needing anything they would be straight down and happy to help which topped the experience. The wifi was superb was able to take my Xbox and stream films and play games with ease and it had no struggle at all, tv in each room which all had connection to WiFi and could stream Netflix. The log fire was beautiful and certainly heated up the place quickly not that it was necessary because the top range heating system could be controlled by your smart phone and was easy to use, the hot tub was just simply perfect, easy to use, relaxing with great view. The owners were kind enough to also have a booklet they had made which explains how to use everything in the lodge, tells you where you could go with times it would take, places to eat and any info required, I can’t stop telling people how great it has been and I wish all the best for the owners in future because it was amazing and they deserve it with all there hard work, I could go on for a few more paragraphs but I’ll just leave it there and overall say it’s an amazing getaway which was perfect for us. Thankyou manor farm Tom and Katie

Kev and Julie were very friendly and the information they provided helped us get the most out of our stay. Newtown was easily accessible by car whenever we needed to stock up and the Bull & Heifer pub in Bettws Cedewain was only a short walk away. Group of three. The accomodation we chose was the Dragon lodge and what a delight it was. Spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our hosts, Kev and Julie, were absolutely fantastic and provided all our needs and more. The secure entry ensured no one could access the lodge as the key is placed in key safe upon arrival. The rooms were airy and the central heating system controls are modern and easy to use. In fact all the facilities are first class and new. The hot tub is just wonderful and a lovely place to be in the evening as the dark draws in and gets colder. Its cleaned and treated daily. The log burner is fantastic and heats up the lodge in no time at all. I struggled with getting it going at first but a quick message to our hosts and Kev arrived within ten minutes to get it started for me. Thats one of biggest stand out points too, that our hosts were courteous, very pleasant and handled any queries we had in a timely manner. The kitchen is modern, new and has everything you need for your stay. Tea, coffee, sugar, bread, a complimentary cake and even little things like dishwasher tablets were provided that make things easier and more comfortable for you to settle in. There is a smart TV with remotes in all bedrooms, the beds are super comfortable and even my best mate with back problems had a good nights rest with no issues. The bathrooms are also a highlight with new rain style shower heads that give you great hot water with a decent pressure. There are plenty of towels given in the rooms for the bathrooms and hot tub use. Your children can also have fun trying to find the elusive Dewi the dragon that is hidden somewhere within the lodge. Parking is fine, close and adjacent to the lodge with no problems for access with anyone with mobility issues or wheelchair users. My friends and I had an amazing time during our short stay and we would just like to say a big thankyou to Kev and Julie for being so hospitable. We will definitely be returning in the future as its an A* venue.
