Very cosy in the loft - most favourite was the log burner. So nice with all the variety of animals around us too. Very much enjoyed. Nice to shut down from city life for few days. So peaceful.

  • "This cottage felt more like a cabin, it was an amazing experience!"

It felt as if we were in the Charlottes Web on the farm, the animals on the farm were definitely a bonus we loved the all the animals, the pigs, goats, horses, ducks, hens, cockerel, sheep, dogs! The stream next to the farm was lovely our daughter played in it, and we loved the walk up the hill as soon as you leave the farm. It takes you to wonderful views, we even witnessed a farmer on his quad with his sheep dogs hearing the sheep on the rolling hills that was really nice to watch. Everything was was really educating for our child, she wants to go back and we plan to come back this summer with out a doubt. The owner was very accommodating and was always around if you needed her, she has done a great job with the new kitchen and fire installed recently. Always had electric and hot water considering it’s so rural. The water comes from on site it was so tasty. Such an amazing place, magical experience. What a gem!

Thank you Brent, look forward to seeing you all again hopefully with less mud around! Property Owner

  • "It's a lovely farm cottage far in the sticks as the closest shop is 20min drive away, with miles of walking on the doorstep to a open common, medium difficult walking but if you want to walk for hours with your dogs or family I would recommend."

Di is a very nice host with 5 dogs and a small farm full of friendly animals. If you have dogs yourself there will be time periods in the morning and mid afternoon she likes to let her dogs run around her farm and asks for you to keep your dogs in the cottage or out on a walk. I will definitely be going back in the near future.

Thank you Alex. Your dogs are a credit to you. Property Owner

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at the Loft and would happily book again."

The main room is really spacious, with everything that you need to be comfortable on holiday. The bedroom is very small but perfectly fine for 2 small children (or one older child or adult) and really cosy. Our boys are 5 and 2 - the younger one slept in a travel cot which just about fitted in the bedroom alongside the bed. Di, who runs the farm, was extremely welcoming and friendly. We all enjoyed "helping" to feed the animals (pigs, sheep, ponies, chickens, goats) many mornings and evenings. Remember to take wellies! Di has 5 lovely dogs. Our boys began the holiday quite wary of the dogs as some of them are very large and bark a fair amount! However, by the end of the holiday both boys really loved the dogs and had gained so much confidence around them. There are some great places to visit from the Loft, but you need to be prepared to drive for at least 30 minutes to most of them. Our favourite place was the Elan Valley, about a 45 minute drive away. Thank you Di for a wonderful, unique holiday!

Thank you for coming, so glad you all enjoyed it. Property Owner

  • "What a lovely little hideaway in the middle of some of the most spectacular surroundings the UK has to offer."

We have already recommended this place to our friends and we hope to return. Not just value for money but a truly unforgettable time. No WiFi or phone signal was utterly blissful! Our little boy was welcomed onto the farm to help with feeding the animals and he loved it! Our host was warm and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thankyou

Thank you Martin, it was a pleasure having you and your family. Hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "The accommodation had everything you need, there was a table with 4 chairs with a full kitchen , oven , microwave, fridge freezer ,crockery, cutlery, utensils , tea towels , hand wash , washing up liquid."

Bathroom was nice with all towels provided plus some handwash . The whole room you get is spacious . In the big room there is a small sofa , large double bed , Freeview TV , a dvd player with quite a few dvds provided by the owner . Couldn't fault anything about the stay I went with my two boys aged 5 and 7. They absolutely loved everything about there stay, the owner , Di , was lovely and my boys loved helping out with feeding the animals morning and night. This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and get back to what humans should do and be with nature .

Thank you Michael, it was lovely to meet you and the boys. Look forward to seeing you all again. Property Owner
