  • "Lovely home from home feel."

Very well equipped accommodation. Host responded immediately when we experienced a problem with the TV and another was delivered and set up that same morning. Lovely base for exploring the local area and beaches. Stayed at Seaglass last year which is also owned by the people who rent out Driftwood and both were fabulous places. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Very comfortable stay, apartment was very clean and had everything you needed."

Only negatives were: WiFi speed was very poor. Water pressure was too low. Not enough hot water for four people to have a shower in the mornings.

Thank you for your feedback. Apologies for the issues you had. WiFi was upgraded in January this year, which we checked after you left and the router just needed a re boot. Had you called or messaged us this could have easily been resolved. Very little we can do about the water pressure unfortunately and there should have been enough hot water as that is heated by a combi boiler to ensure hot water is constant. I hope these matters didn't spoil your break too much. Your comments are appreciated though as any feedback is helpful. Property Owner

Lovely apartment, great location for exploring Snowdonia However it just seemed to lack natural light making it a bit dark but you could catch some sunshine by moving the patio furniture onto the lawned area Shower a bit lacking in pressure

Apologies for the lack of light. This was probably down to the scaffolding that was put up during your stay for the apartment above to be painted. We had no idea that this was planned and can only apologise. We did let future guests know as soon as we found out about the scaffolding so that they were aware. Property Owner

  • "The cottage is excactly as listed and described and we spend some great days here."

What we missed though was a cosy feeling in the living room area. The furniture seemed to be placed randomly and the all tiled floor without any rug or similar made it feel a bit cold and sterile. Our daughter loves to play on the floor and this wasn't much fun here. However, the other rooms are lovely, the facilities are excellent and the location is great. Driftwood is a perfect base when you are out and about in Snowdonia.

  • "This is the second time we have stayed at Driftwood and we will be booking again."

We really like how quiet it is and if you get nice weather, sitting outside in the sun in the evening is lovely. The beach at Harlech is beautiful, long and perfect for dog walking. The property has everything you need for a relaxing break and we found it clean with a well thought out welcome folder with all the information you need as well as some biscuits and some milk. Thanks for another great stay, see you again.

  • "The only problem we had was everything felt damp, clothes and towels."

The beach was a lot further away than expected. Though the apartment looked a bit like it was on a council estate inside it was spotless with everything you needed and more. We'll looked after.

There is a full heating system at the property so not really sure why everything would feel damp. All properties on the development are privately owned and photos on the website show exactly what the development is like and the beach is a 20 min walk as stated on the website. Property Owner

  • "The inside of this groundfloor property flat was excellent."

The open plan lounge kitchen was a little cramped with the very large lounge suite taking up a lot of space. The decor was lovely and the finishes were fresh and clean. The only real downside to this property is that there is no privacy, or shelter from the wind, for sitting outside in an evening. The provided outside wooden furniture is suffering from the coastal weather.

  • "Driftwood is a cosy comfy cottage in a great location to explore all the lovely things to do in the area."

The beds were comfortable and both bedrooms had a TV on the wall, plenty of good hangers, in the wardrobe and plenty of space to put all your clothes away. Lovely modern bathroom with shower over the bath with bi fold glass screen so the floor stayed dry. The open plan area had everything you needed, in the kitchen a good size fridge freezer, the lounge comfy settees, and best of all was the smart TV had Netflix included. The weather was not great but we managed to sit outside on a couple of afternoons. Any problems we had were very quickly solved.

I have been a customer for many years and have always left a property how I found it. I appreciate that a few people don’t, but sending a message to Them is hardly likely to change their behaviour. Not impressed,,! The property was fine.

It has all the facilities you could wish for. The only slight negative was the low water pressure which meant the shower wasn't very powerful. However this didn't take away from our wonderful stay. The beach at Harlech is beautiful with golden sand, well worth a visit. We drove to the car park and walked from there and it was a good 10 min walk. We would definitely recommend a stay at Driftwood.

Apartment is spacious and well presented with plenty of room for our dog outside to play. Only downside was thought it would have been nearer to beach. It takes about 20 mins to walk to the beach not 10 as advertised as it takes 10 mins to walk to the car park which is then a further 5-10 mins uphill walk after that.

Normally I take a bag of cleaning products cloths sponges, towels etc but there was absolutely no need as everything was there. The bath towels were beautifully clean, fresh and soft. The furniture and fixtures were of good quality, modern and stylish. The owners arrived very quickly when contacted to sort out the problem we had with the hob. The surrounding estate on which the property stands looks abit grim, but tbh it was quiet and the local residents we met were very chatty and friendly. There isn't alot to do in Harlech itself but it has a train station and regular bus service and a great base to explore some of the fabulous varied places within the Snowdonia national park.
