• "Redwood is a lovely, cosy holiday home for a family situated in a quiet area but close to road links to explore North Wales."

  There is a glimpse of Harlech Castle from the windows, looking particularly imposing lit up at night. The property was warm, spotlessly clean and furnished to an excellent standard & modern style. A welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk and Welsh Cakes was much appreciated. Owners proactive to communicate and ensure a great stay for their visitors. Would happily book again when back in the area.

• "Amazing stay in a great location to explore Wales."

  The owners left some tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits which we thought was a lovely touch and well needed after our journey from home. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and we can't wait to go back next year. 5 star ++++

• "The owners were fantastic, helped with any queries, the house was fantastically kitted out, was extremely quiet if you like peace and quiet, the beds were super comfy and the beach was a 15 minute walk."

  I would 110% recommend if you a looking for a perfect peacefull holiday with a really nice place to stay in, would absolutely definately go back tomorrow if we could. Many thanks to the owners.

• "We absolutely loved our week here, and what perfect summer weather!"

  The home had everything we needed for a perfect self catering coffee, and the tea/coffee and fresh milk was a nice touch! The dog friendly beach just round the corner was a big bonus too!

• "An excellent holiday home and very good value for money."

  The kitchen was well kitted out and the bed was truly the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in. Would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here.

• "This lovely apartment is so comfortable to stay at."

  We slept better than we have for a long time. It's in a quiet location but within easy access to local attractions. We had a slight problem on arrival but Sue and Mike were very easy to communicate with and it was soon resolved. Hoping to visit again in the future.

  It was better than we expected. The kitchen is very beautiful, modern and has all the facilities you require. The beds are comfortable, and the whole house was spotless when we arrived. The owner was very helpful, so was the welcome pack. Useful extras in the fridge which was very welcome. Would definitely book again.

• "Redwood is beautifully furnished and a real home from home, with extra thoughtful touches and some treats left for us."

  It is also very comfortable and very clean. Good communication from the owners before arrival and departure. There is a communal outside space, for those with dogs. It is very peaceful and quiet in the surrounding area and the beach is about a 20 minute walk. The beach is vast, and not overly crowded. We would book again in a heartbeat!! • "Redwood is a lovely property set on a quiet estate very close to Harlech town and beach."

  Sue the owner responds quickly to communications and left us some creature comforts which were very welcome. We had no issues during our stay, the property is furnished to a high standard and the kitchen is well equipped. I recommend the property as it is both incredibly comfortable and in a brilliant location to explore the beautiful coast and towns nearby.

• "Redwood was the perfect location and base for us to explore the area."

  It was extremely quiet and the big green outside with the tree swing was a hit with the kids (11 and 9) Sue and Mike provided everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and happy stay and everything was immaculately clean and tidy. We were given all the information we needed to ensure no questions needed to be asked. Sue and Mike are excellent hosts. We didn’t want to leave! When we return to Harlech in the future we wouldn’t hesitate to book Redwood again, we had a fantastic stay there.

• "Lovely house."

  Slightly disappointed with the location though. it is very close to the beach but there is a golf course in the way so it's a 20 minute walk round it to the beach. I know I could drive but that's not the point. I wanted a relaxed stroll not to have to get back in the car again after a 4hr drive. Harlech is an odd town with most of the shops and restaurants being up the hill not on the seafront, so again more driving. None of that is the fault of the property but if I'd known all that I would have chosen a different town for a seaside holiday. My fault for not checking more carefully. The proximity to Snowdonia was very good. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful mountains and villages that are all within an hour's drive. Dog owners should be aware that there is no fenced garden area. We spent a lot of time chasing our dog around the estate.

• "Lovely place, loved being able to walk to the beach (20 mins flat) and Castle (15 mins steep uphill)."
