The property

Oswestry 8 miles.

Tucked away within the owner's grounds, just behind a private driveway, is The Tractor Shed, a charming barn conversion for two.

It offers bundles of character, from the exposed ceiling beams and hay windows to the oak staircase and doors, for a cosy and inviting feel.

Step straight into the kitchen, which is wonderfully appointed with modern appliances, ready for you to rustle up those delicious meals to be had around the dining table.

Just off from here, you also have a handy utility room housing a washer/dryer, just in case you need to do any laundry while you are away.

Climb the stairs to the mezzanine living room and spend your relaxation time taking in the rural views through the large picture window, which allows plenty of natural light to flood the space.

Curl up with a good book or tune into the TV as you unwind into your evening with a replenishing drink.

The enclosed garden to the outside allows you to soak up a balmy afternoon on the gravelled patio, crack open a bottle of wine and chat late into the evening, making plans for the day ahead.

This is also a lovely spot for having your morning coffee during the warmer season, and later you can cook up a tasty breakfast with the free-range eggs provided on arrival.

Borrow one of the bikes available and cycle down quiet lanes and through open countryside, drinking in the scenery and feeling fully refreshed.

Find traditional pubs and local shops all around in the nearby hamlets and villages, or spend a day shopping in Oswestry or Shrewsbury, both beautiful towns with historic buildings and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or a drink.

Explore the wider region and travel across to Wales for the Snowdonia National Park or North Wales coastline and beautiful lakes Vyrnwy and Bala.

Discover all the wonders of the area and then return to this rural abode to relax, at the end of each adventure-filled day.
