  • "This place was everything!"

A true idyllic location. It went so fast! The garden, woods and views were incredible. The house itself was a joy to be in also with its character and charm. Everything about this property was magical. I did write in the book I would have loved to do a bit of gardening and sweep the front but there was nothing to use!The weather was fabulous and the beaches were great also. We would definitely come back! Harlech itself was a delight especially the ice cream. This property exudes so much charm and the gardens, woodland, views, birds all emphasise its spectacular location. We also tried to put the bins out as requested however they never got emptied. We all had a super time! Thank you

  • "Beautiful property, with lovely outlook."

All the facilities we could need and very comfortable. Area to look at for future .. lounge area is a bit damp in the far right corner as you enter the room. Think the downstairs bedroom would benefit from that being resolved also. That did not reduce the enjoyment of our stay but sure it would be good for the property and future visits overall. Thanks again

  • "The house was fantastic and very well equipped, the master bedroom was amazing and a very calm place to wake up and have a coffee in bed, looking at the mountain view."

The outside was beautiful, it was great to sit and listen to the birds and enjoying a glass of wine with the stunning back drop. Would highly recommend as you are also very close to a lot of stunning areas to visit, walks all around and Harlech a short walk or drive down the road. Thank you for our stay.

  • "This cottage was superb!"

It was fully equipped with everything you might need and all equipment in the house is high end and luxurious. The views from the cottage were fantastic, and the tiered garden was brilliant, we enjoyed a few BBQs also! The parking was a little tricky on the steep drive, however there is space for parking on the road above the cottage and cones are provided for safety so we had no issues there. Rob was very communicative. The cottage is ideally placed, you can walk into Harlech, and the beach which is dog friendly. Portmadog and the snowdonia walking range are not far either. We were able to enjoy some paddle boarding on the nearby lakes. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful cottage!

  • "By far, the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in!"

We can’t praise this house, and it’s wonderful owner Rob, enough: the house is incredibly comfortable, stylishly appointed and equipped to a very high standard so that it really does feel like a luxury retreat away. Communication with Rob throughout was swift and helpful and the welcome treats on arrival were very generous and delicious- the Bara Brith was excellent! We were treated with sunny weather which made the views of Snowdon seen from the house all the more spectacular and the garden a joy to relax in. There is a short walk into Harlech easily navigated from the end of the garden, taking you up onto a bridle path which eventually leads you onto a road above the town where you are rewarded with breathtaking views over the castle, coast and the full extent of the mountain range- just beautiful! We had a very special time here as a family and intend to return next year to enjoy it all over again. We heartily recommend Llety Perygl for a relaxing and luxurious retreat away from it all in the most beautiful of Welsh surroundings - thank you Rob!

I am not in tune with all the new technogy so it got a bit of getting used to, with the alexa hub gatchet and speakers in each room ect but overall the stay was wonderful. The owner was more than helpful for any query we had. The Cottage is gorgeous and in a perfect location. It felt like home away from home

My family shared a magical Christmas here where we experienced such comfort and excellence and had absolute everything and more that we needed. Everything is of the best quality and the house is beautifully positioned. We loved everything about it and was so much more than we ever hoped. Wonderful and generous communication from Rob. This was a very special Christmas for us.

Very clean. Grandchildren appreciated the smart TV channels especially when it was raining. Our only problem was with the parking. After clouds of smoke from our car when trying to reverse back up the drive, we kept both cars on the road. We'd love to return again in the future.

And what a stunning view. The parking is a bit odd (on the road above the house ) but it’s not busy & a steep hill closer to the house. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful. Loved the welcome pack and someone even arrived with a fresh loaf.

  • "We had a really great stay with 4 adults and 3 young children."

The house was immaculate when we arrived and the food basket was a lovely surprise. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The views are spectacular, although the garden is quite steep so the toddler needed to be closely supervised (we were aware when we booked so it wasn't a problem). We even got in a BBQ despite it being a slightly rainy weekend! Thanks for everything.

  • "Cottage was absolutely brilliant, the loveliest we've stayed in over the past few years, the listing doesnt due it justice."

Attention to detail, comfort and quality of furnishings and appliances, and the views are outstanding. Really well stocked bathrooms and kitchen and a superb welcome basket which we all enjoyed. Worth noting the two laybay spaces are a little tight but the cones help and the road is very quiet, if you were going to worry about your car you could park in Harlech in one of the long stay and get the person parked on the drive to run you to and from, its only a couple mins either way in car. Would absolutely stay again and hope to come back again in the future, thankyou!

  • "Welcome pack was generous and including our dog was appreciated and we hunted down some of the products to buy for home."

The views were phenomenal and our favourite times were spent taking them in. Facilities were good quality and the host had thought of everything. We couldn't think of anything else we would need. The provision of bird food was an excellent touch. The parking and garden were both precarious and specifically in the dark. Grateful we had arrived in daylight and not suitable for children or dogs to roam without strict adjustment and supervision.

  • "The cottage was lovely and well equipped to a very high standard."

The only downside was the parking and lack of footpaths making it unsafe to walk anywhere from the cottage. Despite this we had a wonderful holiday.

There is a footpath leading from the top of the garden through the wood, which then crosses the road and leads all the way into Harlech avoiding the roads. Guests wanting to know more, can find details in the cottage guide available in the kitchen or online. We have 1 space for parking in the driveway, and further space for up to 2 cars on road out side the property, and provide cones for guests to use. Property Owner

It's completely secluded and peaceful with lots of birds and other wildlife in the garden. The cottage is equipped with all mod cons and it feels high end. It probably wouldn't be suitable for very young children or anyone with mobility issues as the house and garden are on a hillside with lots of steps.

Impressively clean and fully equipped to the highest standards. The welcome basket was also a delight as we arrived late due to travel conditions even the dog got his doggy popcorn it's all the little things that count and make a lasting impression. • "Lovely cottage, exceptional standards of comfort, especially in the upstairs bedroom areas, nice touches such as local soaps and the whitest fluffiest towels ever."

Very good house book, telling you all you want/need to know about the cottage, it’s surroundings and appliances. The cottage allows dogs, downstairs only, and helpfully put in the baby gate for us to prevent our nosy Cockapoo exploring further than she should! Covers were on the sofa and plenty blanket throws supplied to cover other furnishing, so we didn’t need to use our own - we kept them for the beach instead as the weather was amazing and so are the surrounding beaches. The well stocked kitchen has an aga and a stove, and lots of herbs and spices if you need them. There is a coffee machine and beans, as well as tea and sugar provided. Helpfully the cottage book has a diagram of the kitchen area and tells you what is in each cupboard and drawer. The garden is lovely, our dog had a great time exploring. It is on a steep slope though, with slate and slab paths, so not great for younger children (you would need eyes in the back of your head) or those with mobility issues. The access to the cottage is steep and tricky, but this is spelt out in the travel instructions provided. Fortunately the main road is not very busy and there is room near to the wall to manoeuvre your car in. The drive/parking area is shared with another cottage, but the parking spaces are clearly marked. We had a great week, and hope to come back sometime. Highly recommend this cottage and its location.
